The Interior: Modern Comforts The house has been thoughtfully designed to maximize space, light, and comfort: • The Master Bedroom: A room featuring a high-quality double bed, perfect for a restful night's sleep. • The Second Bedroom: A smart, smaller bedroom equipped with a sturdy bunk bed—the ultimate "den" for two children. • Open-Plan Living: The heart of the home is the bright kitchen and living area. Here you will find an open fireplace that adds a warm glow to your evenings, a large flat-screen TV, and a comfortable sofa bed with a pull-out trundle for additional guests. • Fully Equipped Kitchen: A chef’s delight, featuring modern appliances and everything you need to prepare meals using Gotlandic produce. • Bathroom & Laundry: A modern bathroom with a shower, toilet, and a washing machine to make longer stays effortless. • Stay Connected: Unlike many remote retreats, we offer high-speed 100Mbit Fiber Wi-Fi, making the house perfect for remote work or streaming. The Grounds The property sits on a 2,600 sqm lot that is fully fenced. The Location: Walk to Everything Our location is one of the best on the island, combining tranquility with easy access to Fårö’s "hotspots": • The Sea (600m): A gentle 5-10 minute walk takes you to the water’s edge for a morning swim or a sunset stroll. • Crêperie Tati & Kutens Bensin: Within walking distance, you’ll find the world-famous crêperie. Enjoy a piece of 1950s Americana mixed with French culinary excellence. • Explore on Two Wheels: We are within easy cycling distance to the white sands of Sudersand and the dramatic limestone rauk fields that make Fårö legendary. Important Details for Your Stay • Island Water: Water is a precious resource on Fårö. We ask our guests to shower mindfully. The tap water is safe to drink but has a mineral taste; we provide containers if you wish to fetch "tastier" water for your coffee from the nearby local springs preferably at sudersand. • The Ferry: Fårö is reached by a free car ferry from Fårösund. In low season, it runs every 30 minutes. Note that late at night, the ferry operates on-call (booking required by phone).
