A Modern Victorian style home at the base of Signal Hill, within walking distance to the Promenade, Sea Point beaches, Green Point Park, and amazing cafes and restaurants. Situated in Three Anchor Bay, this home is connected to all the vibrancy of Cape Town's city bowl as well as the Seaboard. The cosy balcony is the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee to the sounds of the seagulls, while the lush courtyard provides an idyllic setting for balmy summer night lounging. The space As you step through the front door, the entrance provides all the space you need to kick off your shoes, hang up your jackets, and store all your beach essentials in the built-in cupboards. There is a beautifully renovated guest toilet to your left, and a small wine cellar that has been created from excavated mountain bedrock. At the top of the stairs, you are greeted by an expansive open plan living space that is flooded with natural light. There are two lounging spaces to choose from - both have fireplaces that heat up the entire home on cold winter nights. The internal, private and lush courtyard provides a wonderful ambience for summer nights. The master bedroom features a super king sized bed and loads of cupboard space, and it opens onto the courtyard. The second bedroom offers a queen bed with ample cupboard space, a large desk to comfortably work from home, and it opens up onto a balcony with seating. The family bathroom features a spacious shower and the most serene Victorian style bathtub that overlooks the garden. Opposite the bathtub, in the courtyard garden, there is also an outdoor shower with hot water - a favourite for summer mornings! The fully equipped kitchen is a spacious chef's delight with a gas stove, modern SMEG appliances, and ample counter space. Outside the kitchen, there is a lovely productive herb and veggie garden - feel free to add some fresh herbs to your meals. There is also a lemon tree and mint and lavender garden at the front entrance - the prefect combo for summer G&T's. The spacious laundry room with a washer & dryer is situated behind the kitchen. A UPS system runs all the essentials during load shedding and rechargeable lights are also supplied. On-street parking is the norm in Cape Town & you can park your car in front of the entrance of the home. There are security cameras and patrols in the street and this area is very safe. If you have a Vespa, motorbike, or bicycle, you are welcome to park inside, behind the motorised gate. Guest access Guests will be given their own set of keys and will have the entire home to themselves. Other things to note The following amenities are provided: - Luxurious linen & towels. - A 'beach essentials' bag with beach towels, and a beach umbrella. - Ground coffee, teas, sugar, and some yummy locally made rusks / treats. - Salt, pepper, and oil. - Basic bath & shower amenities - we supply BioBodi products only!
