Welcome to our cozy vacation home in the green Heusden near Ghent. Do not expect luxury or design, but a comfortable cozy house with terrace and enclosed garden. Located in a cul-de-sac on the Schelde, the ideal base for visiting Ghent (8 km away), Bruges, Antwerp, Brussels or an active hiking or cycling vacation. Easily accessible (Melle train station 1.2 km walking distance; Park&Ride with tram connection to Ghent 6 km). Free parking for 2 cars on the driveway. The space Downstairs: sitting area, dining table, kitchen, bathroom, toilet. Upper floor: 1 spacious bedroom. Other things to note Children are very welcome (children's books, board games, small outdoor toys available) but please note that we do not have extra children's facilities and the bedroom on the upper floor is not closed off to the stairs. Supermarkets within walking distance (850m & 1.7km). Since March 2025, there is a fixed heating/air conditioning unit both in the bedroom and in the living room.
