Ancient country house in the Tuscan countryside

La Casa di Trecco in the hills between Pisa and Lucca is a somewhat magical place... that knows how to adapt to your needs for relaxation or conviviality: surrounded by greenery you can listen to the sounds of nature, the flow of water in the stream. From the garden you can contemplate the splendid panorama of the Tuscan archipelago and have a barbecue... but it's just as nice to experience the house: satisfy the palate and the spirit in front of the fireplace, or take advantage of the proximity to the art cities of Tuscany. The space It is an ancient house, the original core dates back to 1200, renovated while maintaining the typical style of Tuscan rural houses, stone walls, ceilings with rafters, terracotta floors. It unfolds on several levels, the environment is warm and very intimate, the decor is refined but simple. It is the house where my family and I have always spent the holidays. It is functional, equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, except for too much technology... Guest access The house is all for you and should be lived in: in addition to your room and its bathroom, access is allowed, indeed encouraged, in the living area where you can spend convivial moments, in the dining room, in the room around the fireplace, in the small kitchen that is still perfectly functional and in the beautiful reading room, in the attic. The garden, structured in ledges on the slope, can also be used not only to enjoy the view but also to eat and take advantage of the barbecue. Other things to note The house is located on a slope so there are internal stairs to access the various rooms (large and equipped with a railing) and also stone stairs both in the garden and to access the house from where you normally leave the car.
