Set in the quiet alpine forests of Queenstown, The Box Car features an outdoor private bath, Smart Projector, internal log fireplace, bespoke furniture and more. Whether you’re an adventure seeker, or simply wanting a private hideaway, The Box Car brings you all of the above and makes a truly memorable experience. The space Whilst The Box Car is small, the space doesn’t scrimp on the things that matter. Original restored floorboards, designer fittings and 100% cotton sheets amongst other things, will make your stay an unforgettable one. Your hosts are passionate about building and restoring small spaces including Airstream Caravans and Tiny Homes and we give our guests what we believe is the highest in quality, premium accomodation. Guest access The Box Car is your own private getaway however the driveway and main house (where your hosts live) is visible from your stay. Whilst the Box Car seems close to the main house, we assure you that your privacy is important and we will endeavour to ensure this during your stay. Other things to note We have animals on the property. Please make sure not to bring Mila the cat or Alphonse the dog into The Box Car as tempting as that may be! Please note we don’t provide wood for the indoor fire during the summer months unless on request. STRICTLY NO SMOKING OR VAPING IN OR ON THE PROPERTY
