This little piece of paradise makes a perfect getaway. Relax in our tranquil jungle oasis & swim, rain or shine, in our refreshing covered pool. Let yourself be captivated by the sights & sounds of Costa Rica's fascinating wildlife. Sloths & monkeys play overhead while agouti, geckos, iguanas & more scurry around the garden. Grab a camera or binoculars & enjoy the enchanting variety of birds & butterflies - Green Macaws, Toucans, Hummingbirds & Blue Morpho & Owl Butterflies to name a few! The space Casa Pequeña Violetta is just 50 meters from the main road (on the beach side) across from Kasha Bungalows, Miraflores & Kischna Caribbean Restaurante. We are accessible by car or bike & the local bus & private vans pass by for easy pick up or drop off by the edge of our road. We are a 700 square meter, fully fenced corner property in a beautiful neighborhood where you can hear the ocean as well as the sounds of the jungle. A few rental homes along with several full time residents ensure a safe, friendly community along this small, quiet road. Security cameras monitor all entrances to the property. The owner lives in the 2nd home allowing for a more peaceful & private vacation. Though the pool & garden are shared by the host - you’ll find plenty of privacy in this jungle setting. The property includes 2 small homes. Casa Chiquita Violetta where the host lives & Casa Pequeña Violetta which is perfect for 2. Each house has its own gated entry & private terrace. The two homes are separated by tropical plants for privacy yet they share the garden & pool areas. Your private terrace leads to a jungle pathway which winds through the trees to the covered pool area. The seating area by the pool includes sun loungers & hammock. Inside the house you will find an air conditioned bedroom which opens on to your private terrace. Fans cool the combined kitchen, living, dining area. The small sofa in the living area opens out flat in case you choose to use it for resting. When using only the queen bed, you may wish to keep the bedroom door closed to allow for a cooler, more comfortable sleeping environment. Gated parking is for smaller cars as the space is a bit tight. Larger vehicles may need to be parked on the host side of the property. Please message host with any questions regarding parking. Our closest beach access is located on the next road over (heading south) & is reached by walking (less than 10 min / 300 m) or by bicycle. Exact directions including photos are available shortly before check in or upon arriving at Casa Pequeña Violetta. Guest access Guests will have full access to the pool and garden areas. The host will always respect your privacy but is happy to interact or help out as needed. The walkway leading from the pool to the second house is private unless interacting with the host. The jungle pathway from your terrace provides access to the garden and pool. Other things to note WIFI The best and most dependable Wi-Fi in the area is available to you at Casa Pequeña Violetta. Fibre en Casa Fiber optic 50 MB. Bluetooth speaker with password given prior to check in. Please note - power outages due to local weather events may occur but are typically repaired very quickly. If the power in our neighborhood does flick off - you will hear a beep & the Bluetooth welcome greeting when it comes back on. Work Space Need to check in, make calls or send email? Both the dining area & the terrace have a table & chair which can double as a nice work space. The WIFI reaches all parts of the property including the pool area - so feel free to enjoy our jungle setting while getting caught up on work. Cleaning The home is cleaned weekly in addition to before, & after, every guest visit. Fresh linens are available after 4 days & require arrangements to be made with the host in order to accommodate your schedule. Additional cleanings are optional & include a fee. Rentals of 2 weeks or more will be offered free laundry service in addition to fresh linens & weekly cleaning. Beach Items Sarongs & Beach Mats are provided for use during your stay. Optional Beach Equipment Various beach items including masks, snorkels, chairs & umbrellas are available for you to use. A deposit is required for these which is refunded upon their return.
