The Straw Clay House

Welcome to Strohlehm'zhaus, where the combination of wood, clay, and straw not only creates extraordinary architecture but also offers an eco-friendly and cozy atmosphere. The quiet location and the large garden offer relaxation. The accommodation is centrally located: 2 km to the lake, 200m to the vineyards, 1 km to the train station, and 1 km to the bike path (National Park). It's the perfect starting point for many excursions: thermal baths, Mörbisch festival, outlet shopping, and Vienna. The space Upon entering the house, you step directly into the open living area, where you'll find the kitchen and dining table. The view extends to the terrace and front garden. The apartment features a bathroom with both a shower and a bathtub, as well as a separate toilet. There are two bedrooms, one of which leads to an open upper sleeping area via a wooden staircase. Upstairs, there is also a small library with a cozy reading nook for relaxation. In total, there are three beds of various sizes: 180x200 cm, 160x200 cm, and 140x200 cm. For toddlers, we are happy to provide a crib upon request. There is a large garden behind the house. Depending on the season, you are welcome to pick cherries, apples, or pears from the garden. We also provide coffee and tea for you. Other things to note NEW: Burgenland Card included for free We are a Burgenland Card partner accommodation. For the duration of your stay, you will receive the Burgenland Card. With the Burgenland Card, many popular attractions offer free services, discounts, and special offers. For example, you get free admission to the lakeside and free public transport within Burgenland - bus and train. Please note: train tickets for bikes are not included.
