A portacot is supplied, and guests need to bring all bedding to use. There is one bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower & vanity; with a separate toilet. The spacious living area comprises a large lounge room, with the kitchen and dining area adjacent. There is reverse cycle split-system air-conditioning in the living area and master king bedroom, with ceiling fans in all bedrooms & the lounge room. Sugar Hut has a combustion heater in the lounge room, and guests will need to bring wood to use. In the lounge room, there are plenty of entertainment options including a large wall-mounted television (with USB port), DVD player, DVDs, stereo, board games, books; plus a large slate pool table, with cues & balls. Complimentary WiFi is available for guest during their stay at Sugar Hut. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric stove, microwave, rainwater & large fridge/freezer, plus a large range of appliances including slow cooker, sandwich press, electric frypan & airfryer. The dining area is spacious, with a high chair for those travelling with toddlers; and has direct access to the outdoor entertaining area at the rear. Sugar Hut has a top load washing machine, and rotary clothesline in the backyard. Outside, the undercover entertaining area has dining and lounge seating, and hooded gas barbecue overlooking the lawned yard. Pets are welcome inside at Sugar Hut by prior arrangement with Country Getaways. Just let the Country Getaways staff know when making a booking if you would like to bring a pet with you for your stay. The rear yard is secure with a 6-foot fence and lawned area, plus a fire pit for use in the cooler months (guests will need to bring wood to use while observing fire regulations and fire ban information). Sugar Hut is a great choice for those coming to fish, with a bait freezer and fish cleaning facilities; and room for boat parking in the fenced yard. There is off-street parking in the driveway for 2 cars, with undercover carport parking for another car, and parking in the rear yard behind the fence for 1 car with room for a boat. Sugar Hut is located a short drive to the Moonta Bay beach and jetty precinct, into Moonta for shopping and dining options; or south to Port Hughes for boat launching and dining overlooking the jetty. With king and queen beds, Sugar Hut is a great accommodation choice for couples holidaying together, or corporate travellers working on Yorke Peninsula.
