Three Ridges is a spacious, private, four-season home built in the side of the mountain with 21 acres on the quiet side of Nelson County. At only 4 miles to the biggest brewery and cidery in Central VA, you get the best of both worlds: plenty of entertainment nearby and plenty of space and quiet at home – only mountains in sight. With 5 BR / 3 BA, tons of living space inside and out, this modern farmhouse was designed for multiple families to reunite or large girls wine weekends. The space Three Ridges is 3,500 square feet of thoughtfully furnished living space inside and another 1,000 square feet of well-furnished wrap around deck with jaw-dropping mountain views and sunsets that make you melt. There’s a spot for everyone and every occasion in the home. On the main level you will find a large, modern kitchen with new Samsung appliances, Cherry Shaker cabinets and updated granite countertops. There’s dining space inside for 12 adults to eat at once – 8 at the table and 4 at the bar – and living space for all 12-14 of you to laugh the night away on the huge sectional sofa in the family room. Kids and adults of all ages will love the movie on the lower level and the huge game room in the basement with two arcade game towers with 13 different games, Ping Pong, Shuffle Board, Pop A Shot, foosball, cards and board games. Open the door to let the fresh air flow through the game room or keep it closed as the room is covered with central heat and A/C. Blazing fast fiber internet / WiFi covers the whole house, so if you need to stay connected while getting away, then that is easy to do. There are five large bedrooms and three full bathrooms split across the three level to comfortably sleep 17: Upstairs you will find two bedrooms and one bath: Primary Bedroom with King bed and walk out deck with the best views in the house. Massive “Kids Bedroom” with Two Queen Beds, a Full/Twin bunk, and Full Trundle to easily sleep 6-7 adults or up to 9 kids. On the main level there are two more bedrooms and a full bathroom: Bedroom 3 has a King Bed with comfortable memory foam mattress. Bedroom 4 also has a King Bed with memory foam mattress and clear mountain views. On the lower level: Bedroom 5 has a Queen bed and a private full bathroom. The sofa in the living area is a pullout for even more sleeping space. Ceiling fans and TVs with all of your streaming services further enhances most bedrooms and heated floors are a special treat in two of three bathrooms. See pictures for details. Enough about inside, you came to the mountains for a reason… to be outside! There’s plenty of space for that too with the wrap around deck on the main level and the walk out deck off the primary bedroom upstairs. With over 1000 square feet of recently cleaned and stained deck, there’s enough space for everyone. 2 outdoor dining tables provide seating for 16 people at once. Rocking chairs, bistro lights, Propane grill, hammocks and swings, mean that the deck is comfortable for guests of all ages, at all times of day, and nearly year-round. We find that most guests spend all their time outside! Other things to note From 151 there is a Gravel road that leads to the driveway. The driveway is steep but newly paved - parking areas are gravel. A 4WD vehicle is not required, we just want you to be prepared before arrival.
