Private room centrally located in an historic Hanover County farmhouse. The home is over 100 years old and is surrounded by civil war battle sites. We are minutes to historic Hanover Courthouse and Hanover Tavern. The Town of Ashland and Randolph Macon College is less than 20 minutes away. We are within 10-15 minutes to access Interstates 95, 295, and 64. We are within a 15-20 minute drive to the Meadow Event Park and a 20-30 minute drive to downtown Richmond. The space The guestroom is spacious, with a queen bed that is perfect for two quests. The bedroom has its own vanity and sink as well. There is a full bathroom in the hall next to the bedroom. Directly across from the bedroom is a comfortable den complete with its own sofa, electric fireplace, small kitchen space with microwave, coffeepot, refrigerator, cups, plates and silverware. If needed, we can set up a very comfortable air mattress in the den if needed for additional quests or children. There will be an additional guest fee of 10$/15 per night for person (youth, 12 and under/adult). Guest access You will have access to private entry, upstairs bedroom, bath and private den. The grounds have beautiful landscaped flower beds. The farm itself is a small family run farm. You may take a casual walk through the grounds and visit the horses or one of the many friendly barn cats. There are cows in the back pasture and depending on the season, you may see some new babies as well. During your stay Either myself or my sister will be available to help you plan your stay in any way. We are easily available by cell phone.
