The space Alteidet House is a lodge located among beautiful nature surroundings on the road to the North Cape. It’s located at the base of a fjord, surrounded by mountains and forest. The building contains; 2 x studio apartments 1 x 3-room apartment 5 x individual rooms with own bathrooms in shared apartment All the rooms have been recently renovated, but we continue to develop and improve. Alteidet House is about an hour's drive south from Alta, and 4.5 hours' drive north from Tromsø. It is located slightly set back from the main road. In the area you can find off-piste ski tracks, sea and waterfalls. Enjoy the northern lights and midnight sun. Tracks of hares, foxes and moose are often seen outside and if you are here at the right time of year, you might see whales in the fjord. Guest access Apart from your apartment there is a furnished patio that can be used. The property also contains a sauna, jacuzzi and a grill cabin. All of which can be rented out separately. Other things to note On holiday in Norway, you should bring thick woollen socks or slippers: we ask everyone to follow the Norwegian tradition of taking off your shoes in the hallway. It provides clean and nice areas for everyone.
