Relax with the family at this peaceful place. Have a picnic on the river bank. Build a bonfire next to the river and roast hotdogs and smores. Catch the biking/running path only a half block away and take a ride or stroll along the river and waterfall and through the parks. Go hiking or skiing at Sundance, which is only 3 miles away. Take the lift up the mountain to witness spectacular views of the mountains and valleys. Provo, with its movies, shopping and fine dining, is 10 miles away. The space This no-smoking cabin is small but has been completely renovated within the past year. Flooring and granite counter tops in the kitchen are new. It's rare to find high-speed internet in this area but this cabin has it, along with a Samsung 50" 4K TV in the living room and a 43" Vizio HD TV in the bedroom. The cabin is equipped with one queen-size bed in the bedroom and a queen-size hide-a-bed in the living-room with all bedding. It has a full kitchen with full-size refrigerator and dish washer and all needed dishes, cookware and cooking utensils. A small bathroom has a full size shower with products and hair dryer. The South Fork of the Provo River is right out the back door. The cabin is very homey and tastefully decorated. It's darling and very livable. Guest access The entire cabin is available to guests. Other things to note The unique thing about this property is location. The views of Mt. Timpanogos are fabulous. Truly a mountain retreat, yet only five minutes (3.7 miles) from Sundance Ski Resort, one minute from the Provo Canyon bike and hiking trail, two minutes from tubing rentals, seven minutes from theaters and shopping at the Shops at Riverwoods, twelve minutes from BYU, fifteen minutes from downtown Provo, and less than an hour from three other Utah ski resorts. Deercreek Reservoir, with boats and jet skis for rent, is ten minutes away. Also, Park City is only 30 minutes away and the Salt Lake City airport is only 51 miles away. This cozy little cabin is really more of small house located at Vivian Park in Provo Canyon. In the winter, the location is an ideal for winter sports. The Sundance Ski Resort is five minutes (3.7 miles) away, and the fabulous slopes of Alta, Brighton, and Snowbird are only a little over an hour away. Snow tubing at nearby Soldier's Hollow is a big attraction. In the summer, the bike and hiking trail is one minute away. Rental bikes are available. Fishing, tubing, and river rafting are a minute or two away on the Provo River and there is also a large children's fishing pond in the Park, both only a block away. Also only a half block away are picnic areas and playgrounds. Summer ski lift rides at both Sundance and Park City are popular attractions as well. Both places have 'live' outdoor summer theatre. Park City has summer concerts (classical and pop) and an Art Festival. Biking/walking paths are surrounded by mountains and the Provo River. Bikes are available for rent. There is horse back riding in the canyon and many hiking paths. The canyon is abundant with wildlife. Wake up to the sound of turkeys in your back yard and many beautiful birds. During the winter, some of the best skiing in the world is at nearby Utah Ski Resorts. The Sundance Ski Resort, with downhill and cross-country skiing, snowmobiling and snow sledding, is only five minutes away. In addition, the fabulous slopes of the Snowbird and Alta Ski Resorts are less than an hour away. A popular attraction is daytime or evening snow tubing at Soldier's Hollow. The slopes are so large that you are pulled in your tube to the top by a rope. Snowboarding and sledding hills abound. In addition to the above summer and winter activities, year round Sundance has a unique country store and two fabulous restaurants and Park City has all kings of restaurants and shops, for those who like shopping.
