It is in the heart of the Haute-Somme Valley, in a charming village located between Péronne and Albert, that we offer our fully renovated and independent house. The surrounding ponds are the soul of this village. They offer a peaceful setting for fishing, hiking and bike rides with the possibility of getting to the Somme Bay thanks to the Somme Valley Véloroute. The space There you will find: - A fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, and dishwasher) - A spacious living room with TV + high-speed WiFi access - A bathroom (shower, sink, changing table, bathroom towels, and bath mat) - A separate toilet - 4 well-appointed bedrooms (2 on the ground floor and 2 upstairs) - A workspace with a desk - A dedicated children's play area Bedding is new. There are 7 beds: - A 160 × 200 cm bed upstairs in a bedroom with an 80 × 190 cm bed - Two 90*200 cm beds upstairs in the second bedroom - 1 bed measuring 140*190 cm on the ground floor - A 90*200 cm bed on the ground floor + A 90*190 sofa bed on the landing The house can accommodate 2 infants in addition to the children. All baby equipment is provided: 2 high chairs, a small bathtub, 1 crib, 1 portable crib with mattress, 1 changing table with changing mat, 1 baby potty, and various items and toys for different ages. A playroom will delight your children. The private garden (with its terrace and furniture) will give you the opportunity to enjoy the sun. The house has a private courtyard and parking secured by an electric gate, where you can park your vehicle without any worries. Your children and your pet will be able to play in the fully secure, enclosed garden. Our house is in a great location: - 10 minutes from Péronne and 15 minutes from Albert (towns with all amenities) - 5 minutes from the A1 highway (Paris–Lille route) - 30 minutes from the A29 highway (Amiens–Saint-Quentin route) - 15 minutes from Haute-Picardie TGV train station - 15 minutes to Albert TER train station Some examples of things to do: - Stroll through Péronne Market on Saturday morning - Go on a hike to the Belvédère de Frises or Belvédère d’Éclusiers-Vaux lookout points - Hunt for treasures at the Péronne Flea Market - To visit Péronne Castle and the Musée de l'Historial de la Grande Guerre - Reflect on the past by taking the Remembrance Trail All activities will be listed in a book available at the cottage. Guest access Access to the house is independent. You have a key box at your disposal, allowing you to arrive (from 4 pm) and leave the accommodation (before 11 am on the day of departure) at the time you wish Other things to note - Non-smoking house (ashtrays are available outside) - Only 1 pet accepted after request and subject to conditions - The rooms will be prepared according to the number of people booking the cottage. - The baby cots are set up in the parents' room. If you would like a separate room for your baby/child, an additional booking is required. - The accommodation does not have a safety fence at the stairs. Parents are responsible for supervising their children. - The heating system is set to maintain a comfortable temperature in the accommodation. - A camera is installed only outside the accommodation for security and access protection purposes. It does not film any interior space or any private area, and its presence complies with the Airbnb rules in force.
