NEW Ecofriendly, Modern, Cozy, 270° above Ubud

Discover a rare gem in Bali – a cozy, charming apartment boasting a unique 270° panoramic view over the roofs of Ubud. Nested within a family compound, our space combines Western standards & comfort with authentic Balinese lifestyle. Our apartment is situated in trending Penestanan – a favourite among long-term visitors due to its convenient surroundings without the hassle of traffic. Help to save 2 tons (!) of CO2 per year as we supplement most of the power with the solar panels on the roof. The space The 2-story building is nestled within a traditional family compound in Ubud. It's a captivating scene on ceremonial days to watch the family engage in prayer, offer tributes, and adorn their temple, offering guests a genuine glimpse into Bali's culture. The family also owns a small restaurant, 'Warung Makan Ibu Nyoman,' in the front, catering to locals. The apartment is at the back, far away from the busy road, on the top floor of the 2-story building, with its own lockable separate entrance. Newly fully renovated, it comes with all the amenities you require. The AC is new and will be serviced quarterly. From the living room, you have access to a small balcony. Guest access The entire top floor is yours! :). You can access all you see in the pictures, of course. There is a small garden right in front of the building, where you can also park your motorcycle and some roosters in the back. Unfortunately there is no possibility to park a car. Other things to note Smoke-Free Policy As we have smoke detectors and want to keep the apartment free of unpleasant smells, please do not smoke anywhere in the apartment. Pets While Yoga (our neighbor) and his wife have adorable pets - Molly (a fluffy dog) and two cats (Ciro and Ucik) – we ask that you, please do not let them into the apartment, even when they look at you with their super cute eyes. This helps us keep the space clean and allergen-free for all guests. Tropical Bali Bali, being a tropical island, is home to ants and various other insects. Just keep that in mind. We've taken measures by installing fine mosquito mesh in the bathroom and some windows. Electricity Usage Electricity's covered in the price, but we do have a fair use policy when it comes to cranking up the AC a lot. Thanks for being cool about it!
