It sits atop a hill and has the overall feel of a typical medieval Istrian town. The village is a fully listed historic site. Between Gracisce and Pazin lies a protected landscape with unusual geological features. Since 1993, Gracisce has hosted a wine festival and exhibition, which attracts thousands of visitors from Croatia, Slovenia, Austria and Italy. It traditionally takes place on Easter Monday and has become one of the largest events of its kind in Croatia.
