Other things to note From the house you can walk to the famous Ponte della Maddalena (also known as the Devil's Bridge) in a few minutes, with its characteristic arch shape, which has become an iconic symbol of Borgo a Mozzano. The village can be considered a starting point for numerous tourist itineraries that depart from the Mediavalle of the Serchio river, towards Garfagnana, Versilia and the cities of art. In the surrounding area, you can practice river sports (rafting, canyoning), hiking or follow religious itineraries (Via Matildica and Via del Volto Santo), paths of memory (visit the Gothic line), visit the tiny theater of Vetriano, or travel a few more kilometers to enjoy the natural views of Abetone, Orecchiella Park, and the Apuan Alps. For those who just want to rest, the village certainly offers relaxation, for example at the local swimming pool with green spaces, walks in the village and farmhouses where you can taste local specialties. From the house you can walk to bars, a tobacco shop, a laundromat, a supermarket, a bank and the city center in ten minutes. The house also lends itself as accommodation for smart working (internet connection). Borgo a Mozzano is well connected, both with the Lodovica SP2 provincial road and with the SS 12 of Abetone and Brennero. The train connection is also excellent, in fact, at the entrance of the village there is the train station (5 minutes by car from the house). The railway line also passes near the property (after all, the convent existed before the railway was built!) but the noise is that generated by a local single-track, tolerable; the same applies to the overpass that stands next to the building, and which partly penalizes the view but whose use facilitates all those who want to reach beautiful destinations. Have a great stay! % From the house you can easily reach a bar, tobacconist, self-laundry, supermarket, bank, and the center of the town in ten minutes by walking.
