Cosy Room at Friendly Locals' House

Cosy room in a house right by the river. A perfect spot for hiking or canoeing on the river in summer, biking or berry picking in the fall and skiing in the winter. The house is part of a forestry farm, run by the same family since the 1600s. We know the area well and love letting guests in on Sälen's lesser known gems, wether it's boutiques, berry spots or beautiful hiking trails. Welcome to a comfortable, modern home with traditional Swedish atmosphere! The space The guest room and the bathroom are both located directly by the entrance hall of the house. The bathroom is shared with your hosts. In the guest room you will find a comfortable 180 cm wide bed, a coffee nook, ample closet space, and an electric radiator that can be adjusted to your preferred temperature. Towels and bed linen are included, and the bed will be made up when you arrive. In the coffee nook, you will find a kettle as well as instant coffee, tea, cups and wine glasses. Breakfast is not included, but can be added. Please write us if you are interested and we'll tell you more! The floor heated bathroom has a toilet and shower, as well as a washing machine and dryer which is available for guests. There is also a drying rack for clothing and an iron and ironing board. Guest access Bedroom, entrance hall and bathroom with shower. Time limited access to kitchen can be arranged, as well as storage of refrigerated or frozen goods. During your stay Hi! We are Lars and Teresa. We know the area very well, and are happy to recommend the best outings and activities. One or both of us will be at or close to the house during your stay, and we are happy to give any needed assistance. Leading up to your visit we will be using AirBnBs messages for communication. We are also available to book for guided outings - Lars has worked as a mountain guide, and can take you out to see historical landmarks, or bring you on a cross-country ski hike with lots of stories of the mountain and the people who have lived here. Our house is located 8,5 km from Kläppen, 9 km from Sälen village and 14 km from Lindvallen.
