Description

Coastal Paradise at Marina Villas is a meticulously designed home offering a high-end experience, thoughtfully adorned with quality coastal/tropical-inspired decor for the ideal Caribbean experience. Short 4 minute walk to the community pool and private beach. Depending on traffic, we are about 90 minutes from the major airports and 15 minutes to downtown Ocho Rios/ surrounding attractions. We are in a secure gated community within Drax Hall Estates in the beautiful resort community of St Ann. The space The space includes an open concept kitchen (fully equipped), dining and living space. The primary king sized bedroom suite includes a private bathroom with a free standing tub and shower. There are three other queen sized bedrooms, one of which includes a private bathroom and office setup. **All utilities in our community have been restored, and our villa remained fully operational throughout the storm thanks to solar power and Starlink Data Lite Internet, which kept electricity, WiFi and TV streaming services fully stable. While the western part of Jamaica saw the heaviest impact, St. Ann and Ocho Rios were largely spared. Beach: Due to shoreline erosion, much of the sandy beach has been replaced with exposed rocks, giving it a more rustic look. If you’re looking for a wide, soft-sand beach for swimming and lounging, this is not the right fit right now. However, it’s still a beautiful spot for walks, relaxing, and enjoying the waves and sunsets. We recommend wearing water shoes. Guest access Our guests will have full access to all bedrooms, bathrooms, living and dining spaces, kitchen, laundry room, the roof deck and the external common area amenities: Shared pool, beach, beach chairs, cabanas, kids playground, basketball and tennis courts. Parking space for one car available in the driveway. Other things to note Key house rules: No smoking. No parties. No pets. To ensure a a pleasant stay, please provide details about your group and plans. We prioritize non-smoking guests with excellent reviews who respect our house rules. We provide beach towels, and there are beach umbrellas available by the pool area. However, we do not provide snorkeling gear. Starter Supplies: To help guests get settled upon arrival we provide in the home a starter supply of basic household items including toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, basic dish soap and spray cleaner. For longer stays, guests are responsible for replenishing supplies as needed during their stay. Housekeeping: Depending on the length of stay, housekeeping will freshen up the home every 3 or 4 days for stays of 5 days or more. For stays longer than 2 weeks, housekeeping will freshen up the home once a week. This service is complimentary and does not incur any additional cost for our guests. No overnight parking allowed on the streets of the Marina Villas. Guest Registration: Security requires the names of all adult guests ahead of time; photo Identification must be presented upon request by the security team when you enter the complex. Potential Power Interruptions: As with most Caribbean islands, intermittent power disruption may occur. The villa is solar powered, however, but guests are cautioned to conserve energy during cloudy or rainy days especially if there is a neighborhood power outage. Located in Draxhall Estates, depending on traffic, the villa is only six minutes drive from RIU hotel resort, 10 min from Dunns River Falls and Dolphin Cove, 15 mins to Turtle Beach, Pearly Beach, Downtown Ocho Rios and 25 mins to Puerto Seco Beach and various amazing restaurants. Check-Out Instructions: Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Please leave the unit in a tidy condition. Turn off all lights, appliances, and air conditioners before leaving. Close and lock all windows and doors. Safe Usage: For your convenience, we have provided a digital safe in the villa for you to securely store your valuables. Please be aware of the following important points regarding its usage: 1. Safe Instructions: Please carefully read and follow the instructions provided for using the safe to ensure proper operation. 2. Responsibility for Valuables: While the safe is provided for your use, we are not responsible for any items stored in the safe. You are solely responsible for the security of your valuables and for remembering your passcode. 3. Passcode Selection: You will have the opportunity to select your own passcode to lock and unlock the safe. It is your responsibility to choose a passcode that you can easily remember. 4. Forgotten Passcode: Please note that we will not be readily available with the master key to unlock the safe if you forget your passcode. To avoid any inconvenience, we strongly recommend writing down your passcode in a secure place. By using the safe, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
