Tourists, business travelers, exchange students, telecommuters, summer workers, etc. are warmly welcome to the upstairs studio of our house. Guests can enjoy the warm atmosphere of our peaceful house and our natural area. The room has a small kitchen, a double bed (180cm) and a toilet + shower. If necessary, a sofa bed (120cm) will be provided for another sleeping area. The accommodation has good public transport connections in all directions, e.g. to the center of Helsinki and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport. The space Our house is located along bus routes 66, 63 and 560. The center of Helsinki can be reached in about 35 minutes. The bus connection from the airport is smooth by public transport. In the summertime, there is the possibility to rent a bike at a nearby city stop. The property is right next to Central Park. Sports and recreational opportunities in nature, such as walking trails, outdoor gym, swimming pool, or ski trails are great. Helsinki's diverse cultural offerings are at your fingertips. Guest access Guests have access through the same door as hosts. There's an electric lock on the door that the guest gets a code for. There are stairs leading from the small hallway to the upstairs where the studio is located. Guests have their own toilet/shower. The second bedroom is for our family, private use. Other things to note Here are some important things about our place and the services in the surrounding area: Grocery store The nearest grocery store Alepa is at Pakilantie 95, it's about 500m. The shop has a good selection of staples, fruits and drinks. Laundry For a long-term stay, the guest takes care of their own laundry. Bedding and towels are washed by the host every other week. Self-service laundry Tintin Tango is located at Töölöntorinkatu 7. Self-service laundry 24/7 is located, for example, at Tammiston Kauppatie 9, Tammisto and Iskostie 1 a in Myyrmäki. All self-service laundry facilities are accessible by public transportation. Cleaning There is no cleaning service during the stay. The guest has access to a vacuum cleaner, cleaners, and cleaning supplies. We like to take care of environmental issues and hope that our guests will sort the waste as well. Traveling in Helsinki Public transportation is a convenient way to get around the metropolitan area. With the same ticket, you can travel by tram, bus, metro, commuter train, and Suomenlinna ferry. If the distance between the airport and the place to stay is by public transport, an ABC ticket must be purchased. It can be purchased on the HSL app or paid as a close fare in the means of transport. City bike can be rented from May to October, the bike park is close to our house, at Pakilantie 95. Our house is a traditional detached house. The room temperature is kept at approx. +20C, due to the outside temperature, the indoor temperature may be a little more or less.
