"Fauno" is one of the two rooms in our Eco-cabin tree house. Elevated among the trees, with Starlink WiFi, solar power, shower and compostable dry toilet. A simple and charming refuge in the middle of the jungle, ideal for nature lovers and visitors to Tayrona Park, 2.5 km (3 min by motorcycle). ~ Free access to Playa Los Angeles (11 min), from there you can go to Playa Los Naranjos. ~ An authentic space, created with love and awareness, to reconnect with the essentials. The space 《⚠️ Temporary access: After recent heavy rains in the area, the last stretch to the property (400 meters) is done on foot or by motorcycle. If necessary, we are happy to help with luggage 🙂. For now there is no access or parking for cars. "Fauno" is a two-bedroom in an Eco TreeHouse elevated among the trees, surrounded by birds, iguanas and sometimes visit the marmosets. It is located 400mts from the road, entering a rural road. It has: 1 double bed with mosquito net + single cooker with 1 gas stove and a cooler where you can put ice and keep cold drinks. You have the option of adding a single mattress with a mosquito net. Between both there is a shower and outside there is a comfortable and ventilated compostable bathroom overlooking nature. We rely 100% on solar power. It generally works very well (more stable than the local power grid) although on very cloudy days it may lack electricity at the end of the night and early in the morning. We have a small fan with light and portable charging for those cases. There are not as many tomas as in a conventional home, but you will have what you need to charge your devices and enjoy a comfortable stay. It is located near the entrance gate and parking. To get there you will have to climb some stairs, which gives you privacy and a more open view of nature. What We Offer: • Admission to Los Angeles beach at no cost, only with consumption at the bar or restaurant. (11 min walk, admission from 8am to 5pm). • Comfortable bed with mosquito net. • Shower towels, liquid soap and fan. • Filtered coffee, tea, sugar and salt. • Filtered Drinking Water (do not bring bottles). • Basic kitchenette with the basics. • WiFi (depends on solar and weather) Guest access Inside the property there is a trail that leads to a viewpoint with incredible views of the sea, the Piedras River, the Tayrona and the Sierra Nevada. Perfect for sunrises and sunsets. The area where the property is located has an ecological walk and you can appreciate different types of birds, vegetation and if you are lucky you can see or hear capuchin monkeys, titi or scarecrows. The cabin is 400 m from the main road: easy walking access, but far enough away to feel like you're in the middle of the jungle. The entrance to Tayrona, Zaino, is only 2.5 km away. Please note: The internal road is not paved, it can be difficult for very low cars, especially in the rainy season. September and October are the rainiest months, although there are always sunny spells and the sea becomes calmer for swimming.
