Modern Victorian Charm: Immerse yourself in our 9 bedroom Airbnb/Hotel originally built in 1856, where each room is uniquely designed captivating the beautifully restored Victorian architecture, thoughtfully enhanced with modern amenities. King Room Elegance: Experience the height of comfort in our spacious king room, adorned with tasteful Victorian-inspired decor. Scenic Views: Enjoy picturesque views of the lively Broad Street from the comfort of your own room, offering a front-row seat to the vibrant energy of the city. Shop and Dine: Step outside and immerse yourself in the rich culture of downtown Nevada City, with boutique shops, exquisite dining, and cultural attractions just steps away. Amenities: -Luxurious king-sized bed -Ensuite bathroom with charming clawfoot tub -High-speed Wi-Fi -Smart TV for entertainment -Air Conditioning for comfort -Thoughtfully curated Victorian decor -Cozy chair for relaxation Guest access Guest have access to their room and en-suite. Our rooms are located above our very own Cafe. We highly suggest you check out all they have to offer! Upon your arrival you will given a code to access the red door which will lead you up a flight of stairs (elevators are not on site and climbing stairs are required to access the rooms). Once you find your room number, a separate code will be given to access your direct room. Please keep in mind this is not a full service hotel. Our team is available to help in any way possible. Staff is not onsite 24/7 but is close by. Other things to note Because we are in the heart of Nevada City, and parking is limited, there are not designated parking spots. Please also note that there are stairs to access the rooms. We do not have an elevator due to the building being historic. And please be prepared to find all of the unique quirks this building offers due to it's history. Not all floors and walls are completely level, but we can assure you it has been inspected and safe. We tried our best to keep it as original as possible though to highlight it's beautiful character. IMPORTANT: 1. **Noise Levels:** - Rooms 1, 2, and 3 experience more noise, while 4, 6, and 8 may have some noise due to their location on Pine Street. Rooms 5 and 7 are the most peaceful for a quieter stay. 2. **Child Safety:** - Rooms 1 and 2 are not recommended for guests with children due to the balcony and low railing. Additionally, rooms 4, 6, and 8 have low windows, and caution is advised to prevent any climbing incidents if the windows are left open. SMOKING FEE DISCLAIMER: We take great pride in providing a clean and comfortable environment for all our guests. To ensure the well-being of everyone who stays in our property, we strictly enforce a no-smoking policy. SMOKING FEE: A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if evidence of smoking is found within the rooms. This fee is intended to cover the costs associated with professional odor removal and restoration of the property to its smoke-free condition. Our property is routinely inspected for smoke odors after every reservation. If smoking is detected during or after your stay, the smoking fee will be applied to cover the necessary cleaning and restoration processes. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a smoke-free environment for all our guests. Additional Occupancy Fee Disclaimer: The 1856 Speakeasy Hotel is designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for our guests. To ensure the safety and well-being of all occupants, we have established a maximum occupancy limit. Maximum Occupancy: Please be aware of the maximum occupancy specified in our listing for your room. Exceeding this limit is not permitted. Additional Occupancy Fee: An additional fee of $100 per person per night will be applied for each guest exceeding the maximum occupancy specified in our listing for your room. Warning: Unauthorized occupancy over the maximum will result in the IMMEDIATE TERMINATION of your stay without a refund.
