Description

Introducing "Tenjin no Ie", a migration exchange accommodation located near the Shinminato inner river, which is called "Japan's Venice" from the calm scenery of the waterside and Hosotsu (now Isumi City Shinminato District), which has a history of more than 1000 years. In 2022, we renovated an old private house with a thousand latticework called "Samamusuko". The living room has a thick beam that opens up to the ceiling, a charming corridor on the second floor, and a view of the beautiful Toyama Bay through the window from the back room. While preserving a space where you can experience history and tradition, the kitchen, dining room, bath, and toilet are equipped with the latest amenities, and the bedroom is a Japanese-style room for 4 people with futons. NPO Mizube no Machi Shinminato operates "Tenjin no Ie" as a private lodging as part of the town and house preservation activities in the Hojozu district. We cater to a wide range of guests, from those who want to enjoy sightseeing in Hojozu Shinminato and the surrounding area to those who are considering relocating, as well as those who want to use it as a long-term workation. * Note In winter (December-March), the room is heated with air conditioning and a kerosene heater (for safety, it will turn off once every 3 hours, so please turn it on after a while if necessary), but the room may be cold. If you are not comfortable with the cold, we recommend using it during other periods.
