The beautiful private beach is just steps away from the cabin and is perfect for your own enjoyment. With 2 acres of property, there is lots of room to relax. The space This listing is for the Salmon River Lookout cabin This cabin has 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and sleeps 8 people. All mattresses are new and very comfy, with flannel/fleece sheets in the winter and crisp cotton sheets in the summer. There is 1 bedroom on the main floor that has a queen bed and a door leading to the deck outside. The other 3 bedrooms are all upstairs. The Primary bedroom is spacious, has a King size bed, own separate full bathroom and a large sliding door leading to a deck overlooking the river. 2 other bedrooms have bunk beds, twin on top and full size mattresses on the bottom bunk. In between these two bedrooms is a shared full (Jack & Jill) bathroom Also provided: toddler bed and pack and play for your little people in the family. We also have extra air beds stored in the closet for your use Our fully equipped kitchen with prep sink and open island with bar stools is a friendly open space for cooking and visiting with friends and family. From pots and pans, bakeware, silverware, (kids silverware, cups and dishes too!) and glasses and mugs- we have you covered on all things you need, including coffee, & hot cocoa The cabin has 2 televisions. One in the master bedroom and the other in the cozy living room area, both have DVD players, a selection of movies, and microwavable popcorn for movie night. Both are new, smart tvs with Netflix available and Wifi. Full size washer/dryer upstairs for your use, including laundry soap. Outside on the deck there are many places to sit and enjoy the fabulous river views. A firepit is on one side of the house for your enjoyment, and the other side is a playset with swings and small climbing tower for the kids. $100 non refundable pet deposit per pet There is a tiny home on the far end of the property that is rented out to tenants long term. Please keep driveway clear for ingress and egress. Please no turning around or driving any motor vehicles on the GRASS ; including but not limited to, cars, trucks, motorcyles, dirt bikes, mopeds, side by sides, ATVs of any kind. No motorcyles, dirt bikes, ATVs are allowed off the trailer on the property. Guest access The entire cabin and property are available to guests. Please park on gravel and not on the grass. Thank you! Other things to note Idaho, like many regions, can be home to various thorny weeds and plants. One common example of thorny weeds found in Idaho include: Goat head thorns. They produce sharp, spiky seed pods that can be painful if stepped on. Here are some additional tips to help manage the presence of goat head thorns on the property and beach area • wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes that provide protection against thorns when walking both inside and outside. • Check shoes and clothing for thorns before entering the house to prevent bringing them indoors. • Regularly sweep or clean entryways to prevent thorns from being tracked inside. • Footwear Check: • Establish a routine to check the soles of shoes for thorns before entering the house. • Teach children to inspect their shoes and have adults help remove any thorns before coming indoors. Wearing gloves while removing helps to prevent being poked by the thorns It's not uncommon for cabins in rural areas, including many parts of Idaho, to rely on well water as their primary water source. Depending on the specific location and the depth of the well, the water quality can vary. In our case, the well water is treated and safe, but doesn't taste great. We will leave some water for you to make coffee and some bottles for you to drink, but please plan on bringing water with you. Please review and adhere to the following terms during your reservation: Smoking: Our cabin is Non-smoking! Smoking is only permitted outdoors. Please safely dispose of cigarette butts and refrain from smoking inside the cabin. Failure to comply will result in a cleaning and deodorizing fee of no less than $500. Pets: Our cabin is pet friendly with the following guidelines: 1.) All pets must be approved before reservation and require an additional $100.00 fee per pet. 2.) Pets are not allowed on furnishings. 3.) Pets must not be left alone unless secured in a portable kennel. 4.) Pets that exhibit chewing, barking, biting, or are not trained are not allowed. 5.) Please pick up after your pet responsibly. Visitors: Guests are allowed. If you plan to have visitors, kindly inform us in advance. The cabin is set up for the advertised number of guests. Abusing Property: Any abuse to the property will result in eviction without refund. Guests will be held responsible for repairs caused by abuse beyond normal wear and tear Moving Furniture: Please do not move cabin furniture. Extra chairs can be moved from bedrooms to the dining room, but must be returned to their original location. Please do not take inside cabin furniture to the outside Cleaning Charges: The cleaning fee is based on standard turnover time. Additional charges may apply for excessive cleaning. Please leave the cabin in a reasonable condition. Air Conditioner: Please do not run the A/C and Fireplaces simultaneously. This can cause permanent damage to the A/C unit. Fireplace: Please turn off the gas fireplace/stove when not in use, at night when going to bed or when leaving the cabin. Fire Pit: Please exercise caution with fire pits. Do not leave fires unattended and ensure they are fully extinguished. Check for burning bans and purchase firewood locally. No fireworks allowed No guns, firearms or shooting allowed on the property Pest Control: Our cabin is regularly treated for pests. Please keep doors and windows closed to prevent pests. Contact us for pest issues during your stay. Wildlife: Wild animals are present in the area. Please do not leave trash or food outside. Keep car windows closed and refrain from feeding wildlife.
