Description
Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home in the Oxford Section of Richmond. Just 10 minutes from downtown and minutes from the James River for kayaking and exploring. Plenty of room for family or a great place to work. Office desk /chair in own office - now with 1Gb Fios! Two Amazon TVs in separate area to keep everyone happy. Fenced in area of back yard/swing set for little ones and a patio for relaxing under the shade of oaks and patio umbrella. The space 1960 Mid-century modern tri-level just updated with all new furniture and mattresses. New carpet upstairs and refinished oak / marble on main floor. Includes modern LED lighting, a virtual fireplace with heater in the living room and gas central heating / AC for comfort. The office is a newly completed wing off the main living room with French doors for privacy while working and loads of natural light with easy to open casement windows. The office also has its own HVAC mini-split system. The house also boasts Verizon Fios Wi-Fi for excellent browsing and streaming (rated at 300Mb by Verizon). The driveway offers plenty of safe off-street parking (do not park on the street) Access on arrival is through an electronic door lock with your own code for your stay. Guest access The entire house is available with the exception of the attic space and the detached garage. Also there is usually a small trailer and SUV parked in front of the garage but still plenty of parking in the driveway. Do not park on the street. Other things to note This house not available for families of more than 7. There is a Ring Doorbell and driveway security cameras that we monitor. Any overage will be charged $50 per person. This is also a no smoking property. Any evidence of smoking or odors and you will be charged an additional $100 cleaning fee. This home complies with City of Richmond Short Term Permit requirements under Permit # STR-129294-2024 As such, all City Regulation regarding Short Term Rentals must be followed or you will be asked to leave the premises with no refund. These regulations include: No on-street parking for any reason. This driveway accommodates four or more cars. We monitor on-street parking with a camera. Your car will be towed immediately if you park there. No guests that are not a part of the reservation group. No visitors allowed. Absolutely no parties. If in violation for a noise complaint or party you will be removed from the home with no refund. If you need to be loud, please do it in the house, not on the side patio or other entrances. Please see the Richmond ordinance Chapter 30 (Zoning) Division 14, Section 30-697.1(9) of the Richmond City Code if you have any questions. Additionally, there have been guests that have been smoking out the windows or on the property. This is a no-smoking property. No excuses. If you need to smoke, drive to the nearest parking lot and enjoy yourself. Evidence of smoking will result in a $100 fine.
