The street parking right outside the apartment is metered between 8am and 10pm and you can purchase parking tickets from the street parking meter with a maximum of 2 hours at a time. It costs approximately $5 per hour or purchase a street parking permit from me. HERITAGE & HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE High Street at The Rocks is situated on an escarpment above Hickson Road, with views overlooking the Girri Girri steps, Nawi Cove and Barangaroo. The site is a part of a group of Federation era terraces/cottage flats (2-36 High Street) designed by Walter E. Adams, constructed c.1911 and developed by the Sydney Harbour Trust for the waterside workers as a part of the post-plague redevelopment of The Rocks, Dawes Point and Millers Point.
