Studio Cottage/ Coffee Bar/Waterfall Shower

Honeymoon..Anniversary...Serinity...or just want to treat yourself to a relaxing Getaway, Wren's for you!! It's been set up to spoil you from the moment you walk in the door. Open studio format with all the extras you could want from the large ceramic tiled shower with waterfall shower head, the coffee bar, and don't forget the bed....Oh My Word.... you'll want to pack your bags and move right in. ASK ABOUT OUR SPECIAL GETAWAY PACKAGE (2 nights & one your own PRIVATE CHEF for 1 night The space At the end of the long white rock driveway to DeerRidge, the property opens up to a wide open space where you'll find 3 cottages spaced widely apart for privacy. Each cottage has it's own private parking area and we've added a turnaround area for convenience. To the left, the lake can be seen through the trees...more in winter due to the leaves being off the trees. There's a common area available to all guests which is a large concrete slab where a house once sat. We cleared the burnout house and created a relaxing area with a large firepit, adirondack chairs, and a charcoal grill. Split hardwood is provided, along with firestarters and a lighter. (Charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill is not provided.) Guest access You have private access to your cottage. The common area is shared for any to use. The lake is normally not included for guests use, but we have on several occasions offered guests to fish and to use our paddle boat. We have life jackets which are required for any in water sports such as paddle boating or kayaking. Other things to note The surrounding woods are within our property and you are more than welcome to enjoy walks through the woods or even down the narrow paved road. Please be safe and watch your footing...the surrounding area has never been established other than the house which sat on the concrete slab. You might find anything from artifacts to wild animals. Guests have reported seeing fox, deer, rabbits, squirrels, heron, beaver, possum, raccoons, turkeys, and many different species of birds. We have a giant blue heron which nests somewhere on the property and is often seen on the lake foraging for his food. We've seen at least 3 different species of heron from small to the great blue which stands between 3-4 feet tall. A shy little fox has built his den close behind the cottages but has rarely been seen and more afraid of you than you of him. Also, rare white geese come in at times with a few regular geese. We have several species of wild ducks that come through all year and some from as far as Alaska. Fee ranging, friendly Muscovy ducks were hatched here and will often come around for a short visit. They eat the fallen acorns and berries. If you do not feed them, they will go away but if you do, you've got company for a while.
