The location is convenient and well-served: shops, services, and restaurants are within walking distance, as is the train station, which is easily accessible on foot. Ideal for those seeking relaxation, authenticity, and the freedom to move between nature, excursions, and visits to Turin. The space Self check-in, which I have been offering for many years, allows guests to access the house on their own at the time they prefer, without any constraints related to my presence. However, this does not mean a lack of attention: there are clear rules in the house, which are explained in a dedicated guide. The town is just a few kilometers from Susa and is easily accessible from Turin, both by train and by car. The medieval origins of Bussoleno are still visible in its most significant historical buildings, such as Casa Aschieris, the Locanda della Croce Bianca (also known as Casa Amprimo) and the Borello Castle, which dominates the village from the top of the hill. At one time, Bussoleno was an important waypoint for pilgrims on the Via Francigena (Moncenisio section) and a strategic hub for rail traffic between Italy and France. Today, it also houses the Museum of Rail Transport through the Alps, which tells the story of Alpine rail connections through evocative reconstructions and period artifacts. We are in an ideal location to experience the natural beauty of the Val di Susa in every season: • Mountain hiking and trekking • Bike and mountain bike trails • sports fishing lakes • Numerous outdoor activities. One of the most popular destinations in the area is the Orrido di Foresto, a spectacular natural gorge highly prized by climbers, offering numerous routes on limestone walls suitable for various experience levels. However, we are available for urgent needs, as we live on the upper floor. ⸻ 🛋️ The apartment • All areas and amenities are available for guest use. • The living area has a double bed and, if included in the reservation, additional cots. • The interior door leading to our home is not accessible to guests. Upon arrival, all the furnishings, items, and amenities in the apartment are checked and found to be intact and in working order. Any pre-existing issues or damage must be reported to the host immediately. ⸻ 🕰️ Medium and long term stays For medium- or long-term stays, a standard contract is drawn up, as required by current regulations. ⸻ 🌡️ Heating The heating system is operated by the host. The apartment is handed over with a temperature appropriate to the season and designed to ensure guests’ comfort. If you would like to request a change in the temperature, please contact us; we will consider your request within the limits of responsible energy use. ⸻ 🔌 Energy and utilities We ask that you use energy and resources responsibly, turning off lights and appliances when they are not needed or when you leave the apartment. In the event of excessive consumption or improper use, an additional fee may be charged. ⸻ 🧹 Cleaning The cleaning fee covers an initial and final standard cleaning. The home must be left in a decent and tidy condition, in particular: • Dishes washed • Waste disposed of correctly • surfaces free of visible dirt • Appliances left clean If the apartment is left in an unsatisfactory condition or requires additional cleaning, an extra cleaning fee may apply. ⸻ 🚭 House rules • No smoking inside the apartment. • Furnishings, linens, and amenities must be used with care and respect. • No moving or removing of furniture without permission. • Parties or events are not allowed. ⸻ 🔇 Respect for quiet The apartment is in a residential setting. Therefore, we kindly ask you to respect quiet hours, especially in the evening and at night. ⸻ Additional 🐾 pets and guests • Pets must be disclosed prior to booking and authorized by the Host. • Hosting individuals not included in the reservation, even temporarily, without prior notice and approval is not permitted. Failure to disclose the presence of pets will result in a charge for each additional guest, as well as any costs for additional cleaning or damages. All guests must be listed on the reservation. For insurance and security reasons, access is not allowed to unregistered guests. ⸻ 🎥 Security and access control For safety and property protection reasons, there are outdoor security cameras that monitor only the area around the property’s front door. The cameras are located only in the outdoor areas and do not record the interior of the apartment or the guests’ private spaces in any way. The video surveillance system is used exclusively to ensure the security of the property and to monitor access to the home, including to make sure that the number of people present matches the number specified in the reservation, as required by the platform’s rules. ⸻ 🔑 Safety Please be sure to always lock the doors and windows when you leave the apartment. ⸻ 🐶 Note Our Border Collie also lives in the house; he is a calm and reserved dog who does not interact with guests. ⸻ 🌿 Good stay We hope you have a pleasant and respectful stay.
