The location is convenient and well served: shops, restaurants and essential services are just a short walk away, as well as the train station, easily reachable on foot. Ideal for guests looking for relaxation, authenticity and easy access to nature, hiking and visits to Turin. The space Self check-in, which I have been offering for many years, allows guests to access the apartment independently at the time that suits them best, without being limited by my presence. However, this does not mean a lack of attention: clear house rules apply and are explained in a dedicated house manual. The town is just a few kilometers from Susa and is easily reachable from Turin, both by train and by car. The medieval origins of Bussoleno can still be seen in some of its most significant historic buildings, such as Casa Aschieris, the Locanda della Croce Bianca (also known as Casa Amprimo), and Castello Borello, which overlooks the village from the hill above. In the past, Bussoleno was an important stop for pilgrims traveling along the Via Francigena (Moncenisio route) and a strategic crossroads for railway trade between Italy and France. Today it is also home to the Museum of Railway Transport through the Alps, which tells the fascinating story of Alpine rail connections with historical reconstructions and original artifacts. We are located in the heart of the Susa Valley, surrounded by nature and outdoor activities for every season: • hiking and mountain trekking • cycling and mountain bike routes • lakes for sport fishing • and many other outdoor experiences. Among the most popular destinations nearby is the Orrido di Foresto, a spectacular natural gorge appreciated by climbers, with more than 20 limestone climbing routes suitable for different levels of experience. For urgent needs we remain available, as we live on the floor above. ⸻ 🛋️ The apartment • All rooms and amenities are available to guests. • The living area includes a double bed and, if included in the reservation, additional folding beds. • The internal door connecting to our private home is not accessible to guests. At the time of arrival, all furniture, objects and equipment in the apartment are checked and delivered intact and in working order. Any existing damage or anomaly must be reported immediately to the host. ⸻ 🕰️ Medium and long stays For medium or long stays, a regular rental agreement will be signed in accordance with current regulations. ⸻ 🌡️ Heating The heating system is managed by the host. The apartment is delivered with a temperature appropriate for the season and designed to ensure guest comfort. If you wish to request a temperature adjustment, please contact us and we will evaluate the request within the limits of responsible energy use. ⸻ 🔌 Energy use Guests are kindly asked to use energy and resources responsibly, turning off lights and appliances when not needed or when leaving the apartment. In case of excessive or inappropriate consumption, an additional contribution may be requested. ⸻ 🧹 Cleaning The cleaning fee covers standard initial and final cleaning. The apartment must be left in decent and orderly condition, in particular: • dishes washed • garbage disposed of correctly • surfaces free of obvious dirt • appliances left clean If the apartment is left in unsuitable condition or requires extraordinary cleaning, an additional cleaning fee may be applied. ⸻ 🚭 House rules • Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment. • Furniture, linens and equipment must be used with care and respect. • Moving or removing furniture without authorization is not permitted. • Parties or events are not allowed. ⸻ 🔇 Respect for quiet hours The apartment is located in a residential area. Guests are kindly asked to respect quiet hours, especially during the evening and night. ⸻ 🐾 Pets and additional guests • Pets must be declared before booking and approved by the host. • It is not allowed to host people not included in the reservation, even temporarily, without prior communication and approval. Failure to declare pets may result in the charge of extra guest fees, as well as possible additional cleaning or damage costs. All guests must be registered in the reservation. For safety and insurance reasons access to undeclared guests is not permitted. ⸻ 🎥 Security and access monitoring For security and property protection purposes, external security cameras monitor the entrance area of the house. The cameras are located only in external areas and do not record any interior space of the apartment or private areas of guests. The system is used exclusively to ensure property security and monitor access, also in order to verify that the number of people entering the property corresponds to the number indicated in the reservation, in accordance with platform rules. ⸻ 🔑 Safety Guests are kindly asked to close doors and windows when leaving the apartment. ⸻ 🐶 Note Our Border Collie also lives in the house.
