Its has a unique upstairs that you access from the outside with by a stairwell that you enter a big patio to oversee the property and can see the amazing Texas stars. From the patio, you enter a bedroom that has 2 full size beds and 1 twin bed. Perfect for the kids to stay & play as the ceilings are short as part of the original structure. This home is tucked away in Ammannsville, TX home of one of the famous painted churches, St John the Baptist Church. Be sure to have your camera ready as its breathtaking. Only 2 miles away! Many other famous painted churches within 15 miles. Just 1/4 of a mile, take a bike ride or walk to another local favorite, Tofel's Place. This is a long running beer joint known as the "green room." Stop in and talk to the owner, George and have a cold beer. It's located right as your turn back on FM1383 off Bohulsav Rd. You may even catch a game of dominoes and he can provide some Tofel history. This home is located just 30 minutes from the big antique show in Warrenton/Round Top. Nothing says country charm like this quaint little homestead! Its all about keeping the Czech tradition going! You may catch a local saying - Jak se Mas! Guest access As you enter the gated property, you will arrive into a beautiful scene of a large pecan and old ornate oak trees, a big porch where its time to sit back and relax and enjoy the country! Your stay includes this entire home! If you like the outdoors, go for a walk or bring your bike to take a scenic tour of the country. You will also enjoy the cows grazing in the field. Other things to note This property is made for family and friends to gather, relax and enjoy the country life. Some restrictions will be in place at the time of your stay due to burn bans such as use of the fire pit. Please keep all gates closed at all times. This is also the country so you may witness snakes, scorpion's, spiders and other insects. Please be careful and always check your surroundings. You may witness beautiful deer or turkey crossing the property. No hunting is allowed. A large pond is on the property with active cattle grazing. Caution must be taken when walking to the pond with the cattle. Please do not try to pet or feed the livestock. The farm manager may come onto the property while you stay to check on the livestock. This is a no smoking/vaping property.
