Winter Hirondelles is our stand alone Villa Hirondelles but for long autumn, winter and spring lets only. A minimum of 30 nights and a maximum of 90 nights can be let. Ideal as a base to explore the area and to house hunt or just leave your worries behind in this spacious and serene space. Wake up to deer walking past your window and enjoy the stunning views over open countryside. Perfect for exploring this beautiful part of France. The space Our four bedroomed Villa is very spacious. The generous sitting room with vaulted ceiling lies between the two wings of the house. Each wing having a double and a twin room plus it's own bathroom. In winter we offer the house as a long winter let for a couple, but are happy for friends and family to visit for short stays, just please let us know beforehand. Self-cater in the villas fully equipped kitchen with the fresh produce you have picked up from the market, barbecue and eat on the terrace overlooking open countryside as far as you can see. There is also a huge private garden leading onto open countryside where deer often stroll. You can just relax, read or plan your next days adventure. Villa Hirondelles is rated 3* by the French tourist board. As well as all the essential items required for a comfortable self catering holiday our villa goes above and beyond. There is wifi throughout the villa and a smart tv in the sitting room. Although the pool is not in use in the winter the sunbathing terrace is, complete with sunbeds as we can get some beautiful sunny days in winter and this area is a real suntrap. We have owned a successful holiday cottage business in the Saint Jean d'Angély area for over 27 yrs and have fantastic reviews for all our properties. We manage all our properties personally and are convinced you will have a fantastic stay. Guest access The house, garden and terraces surrounding the house are for you and only you to use Other things to note A security deposit is taken on arrival in cash, we give you a receipt for this and will return on the day of departure if the house has been kept in a clean and tidy state during your stay, please note we have never retained a deposit as all previous guests have respected our home. For rentals of up to 30 nights the deposit is 350€, for rentals over 30 nights the deposit is 550€ Electricity usage is NOT INCLUDED; We take a reading on arrival and on departure and charge the rate set by the provider which we will provide before confirming your reservation. Payment must be made before departure. Wood for the log burner is NOT INCLUDED; it is for you to source and purchase wood for the log burner, the house is heated by individually thermostatically controlled electric heaters but during cold periods you will require the log burner to keep the house cosy. A minimum of 1/3 bottle of cooking gas will be provided which is enough for a couple for at least 3 months, if the bottle needs changing we can do this for you but there is a charge of 50€ for the new bottle. This is a self catering property. A few toilet rolls, a bin bag, some washing up liquid, some dishwasher tablets and some basic cleaning materials are provided on arrival to last a couple of days, but thereafter you must purchase your own Bed linen and towels are provided for the double bed for 2 people.
