"Sky’s Place" Northern Lights & Alaskan Charm

Welcome to Sky’s Place. This little gem with its Alaskan charm is located just 20 minutes from grocery, local bars and restaurants. 60 min to Chena Hot Springs and 2 hours to Denali National Park. It’s a perfect romantic getaway or a cozy place to enjoy with friends. We are up in the hills facing north without city lights, allowing spectacular northern light viewing. Lots of beautiful wood accents, natural light and room darkening shades. When possible, I can offer flexible check in/out times. The space With just under 800 sqft there’s plenty of space to move around. Upon entering you step into the kitchen/ dining room. The kitchen is fully stocked so that you can cook your meals Including some spices. There’s a Keurig, French coffepress, and drip. I provide coffee, tea, cocoa, water and more… Step down into a sitting /TV room with a love seat and a futon couch which makes into a queen bed, smart tv and a great movie selection . The bathroom is next to the tv room with a walk-in corner shower, sink and toilet. Upstairs there’s a large bedroom with a very cozy built in california king bed and a beautiful large built in desk. I have pool towels for visiting the hot springs. There are bathroom amenities like shampoo, rinse, body wash, Q tips, hair dryer. Extra tooth brushes if you forget and more... Guest access You will need a AWD or 4WD from October-April There is off street parking in front of the cabin. Other things to note Please be aware that in the wintertime when the temperatures drop well below freezing, (up to -40) there is potential for the pipes to freeze which means that the shower and or sinks may not work for a period of time. We do our best to rectify this . It’s only happened a few times and I can usually have it thawed out within two hours or less.
