The space Cabin 3 sits just steps from the lake and was built on the footprint of the former resort owners' residence. We've outfitted it with all of the modern comforts while also honoring our 1950's cabin history with natural pine finishes, vintage finds, and hints of Northern MN's Scandinavian heritage. Enjoy a remote-working getaway or disconnect from technology and connect with one another, the woods, and the water. Large windows look out to the lake on three sides. Take in the sunrises and moonrises from the comfort of the living room. The high ceilings and large windows let in lots of natural light. The primary bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has two queens. There is a private attached deck with a propane grill and dining table. In the winter, the lake is great for snowshoeing, ice fishing, and skating. Warm up by the large gas fireplace and hearth afterwards. The sandy beach has a gradual entry that's great for kids and is also the perfect spot to catch the Northern Lights. There is a dock off the Point for fishing, swimming, and sunsets. The 6 person cedar-barrel sauna along the waterfront. Firewood is available on-site for $5/bundle. Other things to note Rental Agreement We require all guests to sign our rental agreement, which will be sent out after making a reservation. You may request it in advance if you prefer. Pet Policy ⇸ Your pet must be included on your reservation. ⇸ Dogs must be leashed outdoors when other guests are around. ⇸ Bring towels for wet paws and fur. ⇸ Clean up after your dog outdoors. ⇸ Do not allow your dog on our neighbors' properties. ⇸ Our pet fee helps us remain pet friendly, however, it does not cover pet damage or excessive cleaning.
