On entering this beautiful home, you will be pleasantly surprised by the spacious, light filled spaces. Original floor boards, high ceilings and updated open fire places, are appealing attributes of this renovated late 1890’s free standing spacious cottage retreat. A home away from home. A large piece of artwork sits above the fire mantle, enhancing the tranquil energy of the room. The dining table can be set up as a home office work space, if required. Power points are easily accessible and extension cords are provided. Through to the kitchen/main living room 20ft floor to ceiling open space and rear wall of windows, allows direct and filtered sunlight from dawn til dusk. Two large contemporary paintings adorn the high floor to ceiling walls. This is a really beautiful space, which is the hub of the home and can be enjoyed all year round. The petite, cleverly designed kitchen within this beautiful space, is well equipped with everything required to cook up a feast. Sit back and relax on the comfortable tan leather couch and watch a movie on the 65” wall mounted TV screen. Off the living room is a European laundry with a new washing machine. Walk through to the fresh natural light filled bathroom, with an antique clawfoot bath and a separate walk in shower. The new white fluted vanity adds a touch of class to a simple, but functional bathroom. Out through the glassed doors to the large private courtyard, you will be shaded by a beautiful deciduous tree, during the warmer months. A stylish outdoor dining table and chairs are provided for those guests who opt to dine at home. Outdoor cushions are provided for extra comfort if required. You may well relax here with your morning coffee and an afternoon cocktail. It is a beautiful space on a beautiful day. A fabulous new Ziegler & Brown gas bbq is provided for those who prefer to cook outdoors, weather permitting. * Please note - that the courtyard pavers have lifted in some areas due to the dry conditions and the tree roots have disrupted the alignment of the pavers. Although attempts have been made to reduce the misalignment in parts, caution still needs to be taken * The newly purchased quality furnishings, indoors and out, have been selected to create a comfortable and relaxed vibe for my guests. I’ve decorated this beautiful light filled home, using a combination of vintage and contemporary pieces. Please relax and enjoy this beautiful ‘home away from home.’ Deborah :) Guest access The whole house Other things to note Please note- The city of Adelaide will not issue a permit for guests or visitors. Parking restrictions will apply to all guests who park out the front of the property. - Between the hours of 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday, 3 hour parking is available. - Outside of those hours (including weekends) permits will apply. All day parking is available at the end of the street. We are offering on site parking for one small to medium sized vehicle only. This parking is limited, as the accessibility of the area is tight. This is located in the rear courtyard, accessed by the laneway. The laneway (commonly used by other residents), runs along the right side of the property. The roller door to the rear courtyard is controlled by a small remote. *The remote will be left on the kitchen bench, or in the top drawer under the bench. * * The roller door must always remain closed once inside or outside the courtyard. * * There is only one remote to the roller door. If this is lost during a guest’s stay, the guest is responsible for the cost of replacing the remote. * * the tree in the courtyard is left to hang quite low to filter the sun on hot days. This could pose a problem for high riding vehicles.* If you choose to use the courtyard for parking, you agree that it is your full responsibility for ensuring that care, safety and respect of the surrounding external buildings, fences and roller door is paramount. In addition, if any damage to your vehicle is sustained during your access to the courtyard, that the property owner is in no way liable for the damage.
