Mon.-Wed. it is very quiet in town. Private Finnish sauna in backyard! 2 min to G-town, 10 min to Loveland Ski Area, 25 min to Summit Co. 7 miles to Mt. Bierstadt trailhead, 10 min. to Grays and Torreys The space We remodeled this house to be our base camp in the mountains. It's small but has everything you need to be comfortable. The center of the house is the Malm Fire Drum wood stove. It will quickly warm up the entire house. Just a couple of logs is enough or it may get too hot! Crack the windows for proper airflow. In the summer day time temps are typically in the 70s during the day and 50s in the evenings. Crack the north side windows at night to cool the house at night. Close the backyard blinds during the day to keep it cool. The house was spray foamed insulated and is very tight and sealed. The L-shaped kitchen is clean and modern with electric range, dishwasher and fridge. Microwave above fridge. The kitchen table is wall mounted and folds out of the way for more space. The bedroom has a pillowtop queen mattress and blackout roman blinds for a great night sleep. There is a 3/4 bath with antique sink and modern bidet toilet. Antique sink—not dirty, antique! Will get it resurfaced someday. Yes, the shower opens into the bedroom! Washer and dryer in the closet. Guest access The entire house is yours while you stay. The yard is Rocky Mountain wild style, do not expect a manicured suburban landscape! There are neighbors, so please be respectful of their privacy. Silver Plume is a true Colorado Mtn town. It’s a little rough around the edges, but that’s also part of the charm. Other things to note Level 2 charging available at the rental so you will never have to worry about range. The yard is a work in progress and mostly wild. Please stick to the area directly adjacent to the house and the sauna.
