Other things to note Please note, this is a vintage glamping experience. Access + terrain The camper is located on a hill and access can be impacted by weather. AWD/4WD is needed to park directly next to the camper. A lower parking spot is available with a short walk up the hill. Off-grid feel You’re staying in a 1976 Shasta in a wooded setting. While we maintain the space carefully, this is not a traditional home and no one is on-site 24/7. Temperature + comfort As a vintage camper with a heating and cooling system, the Shasta is less insulated than a traditional home, so indoor temperatures will naturally fluctuate with the weather. → Additional fans and space heaters are provided for added comfort → We recommend packing layers for cooler nights and warmer days Nature + wildlife You are fully immersed in the forest. Bugs, insects, and occasional critters are part of the experience despite regular pest control. → We recommend bringing layers, using the provided bug spray, and storing all food in sealed containers. Shared property This is one of two campers on the property, with a home below. You’ll have your own dedicated area, but this is not a completely secluded site. → Want more privacy? Ask about booking both campers. Small-space living This is a compact camper with lower ceilings and limited storage. Soft-sided bags are strongly recommended (roller bags don’t fit well). Water + utilities Filtered well water is provided (Brita included). → The hot water system works well but is limited to a 5-gallon tank, with slightly lower pressure than a traditional home—shorter showers are recommended Trash + wildlife safety This is a carry-in, carry-out property due to wildlife (including bears). → Trash service ($10) must be arranged in advance → Any trash left behind will incur a fee Pets Up to 2 small well-trained pets allowed with approval + $25 pet fee → Must be on flea/tick/heart worm prevention → Must be leashed outdoors due to wildlife → This property is not recommended for guests with severe pet allergies Weather awareness Severe weather may affect access. Please reach out with any concerns before booking. Quick confirmation Please include the word “4WD” in your message to confirm you’ve read these notes.
