Quiet accommodation in charming Landsted
Description
Quiet overnight stay in the charming country house, on a large natural plot. Enjoy the view of the glacial meltwater ravine and the neighbor's grazing cows right outside the front door. Take a walk on the large natural plot, in the forest on the slope down to the small stream, hang out by the small garden pond or get your heart rate up on the garden trampoline. Say hello to the hedgehogs, deer and pheasants on the grounds. The space The country house is a nice older brick house that was originally a workers' home under Tjele Estate. It's at the end of a dead-end gravel road. Parking is available right at the front door. Rooms are west-facing (room 2) with 2 windows, and north/east-facing (room 1) with a single window. Both rooms have mosquito nets and blackout roller blinds. In the living room, kitchen, bathroom and in the hallway there is underfloor heating, the other rooms have radiators. The country house is located on a large lush natural plot that is being converted to 'wild by choice'. The plot is 14000m and has trails around the open areas with tall grass and paths, scrub area with raspberries and blackberries, around well-grown trees and in the natural forest on the slope down to the small Foulumdal Bæk. Guest access As a guest, you have access to the entire house, with kitchen, bathroom, entrance and living rooms, and to the entire large natural plot. The kitchen is equipped with the most common things, and you are welcome to use it. You will be able to find Nescafé, sugar, electric kettles and cups, so you can have a cup of morning coffee. The 14,000 m2 natural plot has beaten paths, swing, trampoline, campfire, garden pond, slope with forest, scrub area with raspberries and blackberries. The grounds are being transformed from classic lawn to 'wild-with-will' with paths. Native herbs from the local area are constantly being planted, and you are asked to be kind to these newly planted plants by staying on the paths. In summer, the indoor wood stove is blocked, as the chimney is inhabited by a small flock of very peaceful bats. These can be seen on quiet summer evenings, at dusk. Other things to note Until recently, the house has been inhabited by a house cat.
