The living room is a welcoming space with a feature fireplace and a warming wood burner. A large sofa and armchair offer seating for cosy evenings spent reading a good book or watching a film on the TV. Opposite the lounge area is the open-plan kitchen/diner, with country-style cupboards, flagstone floors and a dining table to seat four. Downstairs, there is also a convenient utility room, tastefully decorated with emerald green tiles, featuring a washing machine and a handy WC. Up a steep set of stairs are the two bedrooms, a double room and a single room, both of which boast large windows and ample storage space to unpack. Completing the property is the bathroom featuring a shower over the bath and a unique round sink. This property has no dedicated outdoor space. Just a stone's throw from the property is a family play park with wide open spaces and plenty of play equipment to keep the kids entertained, and a small selection of shops and eateries in the local area means you can leave the car at home if you wish. For a day out, head to National Trust Barrington Court (7.5 miles) to explore the beautifully manicured gardens and stop off for a bite to eat at the on-site cafe, or spend the day searching for fossils on the shore of Charmouth Beach (14 miles) or Lyme Regis (15 miles) and see if you can find a trinket to remember your travels by.
