Two bedroom family getaway at the Schoolhouse

Welcome to the Schoolhouse, inspired by the outback country schools of yesteryear with its soaring raked ceilings and quant entrance. The two bedroomed Schoolhouse is tucked away at the bottom of the Blue Mountains in Glenbrook village. Enjoy the vibrant cafes, bespoke retail shopping, cinema, secure children’s playground, local swimming pool and national park. Our aim is to provide child friendly family accommodation while you enjoy a touch of luxury and unwind with loved ones and friends. The space The Schoolhouse contains two spacious bedrooms, the main bedroom with built-in wardrobe hanging space and shelving. A queen bed, luxury sheets, William Morris covers, ultra soft bamboo cotton towels and a large wall mirror. Bedside tables and lamps complete the feel of a parents retreat. The family bedroom can either comfortably accommodate another couple in a double bed, or up to two children/teenagers in the double bed. The Schoolhouse is designed to accommodate 4 adults or a family with 2 children and 1 infant (additional travel cot available on request). The family room also has a play area for children with toys, games and books and a built-in wardrobe, hanging space and shelves. The bathroom has a full vanity with plenty of storage, luxury towels, toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer and shower. There is a full eat in Kitchen with dining table, dishwasher, sandwich press, waffle maker, kettle and toaster, coffee machine and air fryer. There is plenty of kitchenware and cooking equipment, utensils and cutlery, pans, baking dishes and crockery. All the cookware you would need to whip up a delicious gourmet meal. We also provide a Welcome Breakfast Kit so breakfast on your first morning is already sorted with homemade marmalade, bread, cereals, milk and eggs. Hang out in the lounge area with its cathedral ceiling and spacious feel. It has a comfortable sofa, coffee table and Smart TV with access to 4G wireless internet. There are boardgames, chess set, books and puzzles for all ages. An old school desk serves as a dedicated computer or workspace. There is also a ceiling fan and reverse cycle air conditioner to add to your comfort. Our aim is to provide family accommodation that is child friendly, with a supply of toys, books and games to keep the kids entertained while you enjoy a touch of luxury so you too can relax and enjoy your break. Guest access This private two-bedroom self-contained cottage with a private secure garden, washing line, driveway and off-street parking is the place to unwind with the whole family or friends while enjoying everything the mountains has to offer. You have exclusive access to all areas during your stay. The Schoolhouse is designed to accommodate 4 adults or a family with 2 children and 1 infant (additional travel cot available on request). * A child's high chair is included, if you would like a travel cot please let me know when you make the booking. *Only those who have booked the accommodation are to be on the premises. * We are two minutes’ drive from the Blue Mountains National Park and the Jellybean and Blue pools. Reconnect with nature as you breathe in the fresh air on a bushwalk. *15 minutes up the mountain is Springwood where you can take in a show at the Blue Mountains Theatre. Venture on another 20 minutes to the picturesque village of Leura and then onto the iconic township of Katoomba at the top of the mountains. *10 minutes down the mountain is Penrith and the Nepean River, kayak down the gorge, enjoy a cruise on the Paddle wheeler, take in the art gallery or do the Great River Walk.
