Step out the door, and you're on the cusp of beautiful countryside walks and canal strolls. The cottage serves as a gateway to the scenic beauty of the Pennine hills and the Yorkshire Dales. If you love the outdoors there is an abundance of walks on our doorstep, one of our guests favourites is Weets Hill, always worth the climb for the beautiful stunning panoramic views at the top! A short drive from the cottage is the very well known Malham Cove, Wycoller, Bolton Abbey, Skipton Woods, Pendle Hill and the Yorkshire 3 Peaks if you fancy more of an exhilarating challenge! The small town of Barnoldswick lies near the Lancashire / Yorkshire border, which means guests can take advantage of everything these two rural counties have to offer. Just 8 miles from the charming market town of Skipton the 'Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales', guests can enjoy the local market and the selection of pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants available. Clitheroe and the Forest of Bowland, Lancashires Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is just 9 miles away and offers an abundance of walking, cycling (including Gisburn Forest a mountain bikers paradise) and local gastronomy to try! **We can occasionally accommodate one nights stays Sunday-Thursday, please message for more information and pricing. All bed linen, towels and hot tub towels are provided. **If the hot tub is out of use during your stay for a mechanical issue and can’t be repaired on the day, we will notify the guests as soon a possible and they will be refunded £15 per night of their stay. Parking is available at the carpark to the side of the cottage, street parking one street next to the cottage or there are also a couple of private spaces which are used for residents who live on the street (but we can’t guarantee these will always be available). The property can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults. (No children allowed, babies welcome under the age of 1). Sorry no pets, no smoking or vaping. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the whole property, there are no shared spaces. Other things to note The guest handbook will be sent to you prior to your stay by e-mail, this has lots of recommendations for things to do, popular places to eat/drink and places to visit during your stay. We have also added our recommendations to our online guidebook. We are always happy to provide further recommendations if needed. Please don't hesitate to contact us! The cottage has low door frames and ceilings downstairs, there are signs around the cottage to make you aware of them. Unfortunately we don’t accept children, only babies under the age of 1.
