Description
Welcome to your home away from home in the NEK. This is a terrace unit below the main house. Plenty of natural light. Private entrance. Quiet. Pet friendly. 2 guest limit. Read that book you've been meaning to get to. Gaze out the window into the woods & listen to the stream below. Near the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, Bread and Puppet Theater, The Highland Center of the Arts, Hill Farmstead Brewery, hiking, kayaking, skiing, shopping and dining. The space This studio apartment is comfortable, quiet and private. As we live right above the Northwoods Studio Suite, we kindly request there be no additional guests beyond those on the booking and, by extention, no parties. We've been told that our queen size bed is "the most comfortable bed". The studio has concrete floors (albeit ample rugs). I kindly suggest packing slippers to keep your tootsies warm, especially in the bathroom. We are pet friendly for up to one well behaved pooch. We ask that all pups be kept off furniture as future guests may have allergies. Please let us know if you need a dog bed. Also, we ask you keep your pup with you when you are away from the Studio Suite or crate them. If you need a crate, you can borrow one. Also, we will be quiet neighbors and ask the same from our guests. We request volume control after 9 pm and will extend the same courtesy. Guest access You are welcome to pop down to say hello to Brownie, our old goat. They'd love a visit and a branch of cedar or pine to munch on. If it's high summer when you visit, feel free to grab a tomato from our large organic garden. Other things to note It would be wise to print out GPS maps as GPS isn't always functional up here in the NEK. These country roads look very similar and it is easy to get turned around. Also, should you be traveling to Craftsbury between November through April, it is wise to travel with micro-spikes as New England can be dangerously icy at times.
