Shuttles run multiple times a day from spa parking lot to the slopes. 5 min drive to resort The space 2nd floor, 2-story condo with main floor Living, Kitchen, Dining and two queen-sized beds/bedrooms. Primary Bedroom has private Full Bath. Secondary Bedroom has access to second Full Bath. Upstairs completely enclosed, quiet third bedroom with two beds and private third bath, great for kids, teens or extended family. (Note, all NEW! kitchen appliances (not shown) Photos to be added shortly) Guest access Access to full condo. Requires ability to climb stairs to access front door. Parking for one vehicle with overflow parking across street at Wintergreen Spa. Other things to note Fire and Frost is an excellent pizza option, and many other restaurants are available down mountain including many brewery and pubs such as Devil's Backbone and Three Notch. Additionally, there are a lot of wineries, cider houses, and other restaurants within 30 minutes of the mountain and make for a nice option especially spring, summer and fall. Best option is to yelp Nellysford w/in 15 miles and you should get plenty to choose from. Please note our wood fireplace instructions: Wood is available at the Wintergreen Market country store (gas station) near the Wintergreen Resort and Ski area in pre-split bundles for about $10 each. One bundle normally works per night depending on how much you burn. So, how do you start a fire? Very easy but use care. Step 1: Remove all items in front of fireplace. Open fireplace glass and carefully slide chain screen open in both directions. Peek into fireplace and look up to ensure the flue is open. [NOTE: Very important that the flue is open!] Ensure flue is open. Using flue knob, located inside the fireplace, maneuver to open flue. Step 2: Carefully insert one starter log into fireplace. (left of fireplace) insert to the center back of fireplace. Carefully place 2-3 dry split logs into fireplace. Create a small tripod formation above or over top starter log. Follow instructions to light starter log. Strike one match and light both ends with a match. Shut chain screen. Step 3: Ensure no sparks are flying out of the fireplace. Do not leave fire unattended with glass doors open Before leaving, please close glass doors completely. fire will extinguish itself. Enjoy! Note: Cleaning service will remove ashes after departure. If you are staying multiple nights and ashes start to accumulate in the fireplace, please utilize the ash bucket (left of fireplace) before making another fire. Once full, the ash bucket can be taken across the street to the spa parking lot, which offers large ash disposable fire-protected metal trash barrels next to large trash compactor.
