Large house on a quiet road with access to sandy beach and walking trails. This place is perfect for hanging out, relaxing, playing outside, cooking large meals and entertaining the whole family. The property features a tennis court, basketball hoop, fire pit, pool table, foosball, ping pong, and a variety of lawn games. The beach offers canoes, kayaks, rafts, and beach toys. Nothing too fussy or fancy- this is the perfect place for a family vacation, reunion, work retreat or adventure base. This is a 3 bedroom/3 bath house. Each bedroom has a queen bed and twin bed, and there is one folding cot suitable for a child. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware for a crowd and has two full sized fridges. The living room includes a fireplace, grand piano, and plenty of comfy seating. There is a screened in front porch as well as a back patio with a fire pit, picnic table and seating. There is a giant collection of board games, puzzles, books and toys for all ages. The property is 14 acres and includes a semi-private beach, barn, tennis court and some short walking trails. The house is located on a dead-end dirt road which is also ideal for dog walking, bird watching, and riding bikes with kid. Guest have full access to property with the only exception being a smaller, separate guest house that is occasionally used by visiting family members. This access includes a sandy lakefront beach with plenty of canoes, kayaks, rafts and beach toys. This beach is shared with our family so, while private use is not guaranteed, we will try our best to be respectful of your space when you are using it. There is also a tennis court, and a large barn that houses a pool table, ping pong table, and foosball. Several bikes are available for borrowing as well, as well as a variety of lawn games. As a host, myself and my family live on the neighboring property and will be available throughout your stay to answer questions via text, phone or help in person as needed. We are friendly and casual, we love introducing people to our area, and will do our utmost to make sure you have a good stay. This house is on a dead-end dirt road. There are no other residents in the winter November-April, so it is a very quiet neighborhood during this time. In the summertime, the area is busier as the lake is shared between several summer camps. Please note- there is very little cell service in this area, so plan accordingly for arrival. This property is quite rural, so expect that you will drive to get to most services and amenities. Please note- gas and groceries are a minimum of 20 minute drive so plan accordingly when you arrive. Please note- this house does not have a TV or entertainment system, although it does have Wifi that is suitable for streaming. Please also note: These are older buildings in a rural area that are dog friendly. While they are well maintained and professionally cleaned, if you have severe allergies, especially to pollen and pets, we recommend you vacation elsewhere.
