This building once served as a hospital, insurance office, restaurant, church, clinic, and a few other things in the 100 years it was standing. Visit the local museum and see how downtown changed, you will see The Rockhound Boutique Hotel in black and white photographs. Renovated just last year in 2023, everything is brand new from electric to plumbing to the walls! It’s brand new, just for you to enjoy! We are walking distance to restaurants, and a local gallery and the museum and play house and front porch stage for live bluegrass music. We are around 3 minutes from all crystal mines, 10 minutes from lake Ouachita, 40 minutes from the crater of diamonds public diamond dig, and 29 minutes from Hot Springs National park! You can also walk down to the river from your suite! Borrow our buckets and tools, diamond sifters, and use our crystal wash station with scrub tools out back in the garden behind your suite. Our guests are also supplies with a complimentary new Mountain Valley Water bottle with fresh water, but also reusable as it’s aluminum! Great to fill in Hot Springs at the thermal water fill up stations, or buttermilk springs or collier springs all safe to drink. There are tools and buckets to borrow in the fenced garden, crystal wash station put back, the brick in the garden is original interior 104 year old brick used in the patio and fireplace which comes stocked with firewood (only use 6 pm-8 pm and put out with hose) in suite you have popcorn, mountain valley bottled water in your fridge, coffee, tea, and creamers for you to enjoy during your stay. Soaps, shampoo, conditioner, shaver, toothbrush, are also provided. There is a clothes steamer in the drawer of the dresser/nightstand.
