The soft palette gets a little more vibrant in the lounge where you can sink down and switch off knowing you’ll be kept warm by the wood burner as you settle in front of the TV/DVD. After boat trips and days in the salty air, soak in the roll-top bath before slipping under the covers in the pair of double bedrooms which are treated to TVs so you can enjoy lazy mornings. Take a mug of coffee outside to the garden and bask in the early sun before the world awakes and Brixham comes alive. Wander a mile to the local beach at St Mary’s Bay where your dog is welcome all year round. Pick up treats on your stroll and enjoy a seaside picnic after sea swims or take to the water and board a boat from the harbour. Just 4 miles away in Kingswear, head out across the water to Dartmouth for a delicious meal or hop aboard the steam railway for a journey to remember.
