Perfectly situated in the peaceful village of Barrington, on the edge of the Somerset Levels, this is a great spot for those looking for a relaxing break to explore Somerset, Devon and Dorset. Being so close to the pretty medieval town of Ilminster, there are an array of local shops, restaurants and pubs to choose from. For those looking for a more active holiday, take advantage of the many bridleways or walk the old railway track from Ilminster to the market town of Chard. The space There is plenty to do in terms of retail therapy as well, with Clarks Village and the larger towns of Yeovil and Taunton nearby. Guests can also visit the famous World Heritage Jurrasic Coast by heading south to Lyme Regis and Charmouth Beach. Nearby are National Trust's Barrington Court, Lytes Cary Manor, and Montacute House, as well as the famous towns of Glastonbury, Wells and Cheddar. Step inside this beautiful cottage through the front door which brings you to the cosy living room, complete with comfortable seating for all guests. This area is the perfect place to relax in front of the Smart TV and watch all your favourite shows after a day of walking the local area. Moving towards the back of the cottage, you are lead to the open-plan kitchen/diner. Whip up a home-cooked meal in the well-equipped kitchen consisting of an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Next door is a very convenient utility room which features a freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and separate WC. Going upstairs to the first floor brings you to the two bedrooms, a spacious master bedroom featuring a king-size bed and seating for two. The second bedroom houses another king-size bed (which can be made into 2.6ft twins - please request when booking) On the first floor, there is also a shower room that features a walk-in shower cubicle and WC. Enjoy the lovely enclosed garden, a great open space and a real sun trap during the summer months. There is garden furniture so guests can relax with a drink in the fresh air and it is ideal space for your four-legged friends to chase their tails. To the side of the property is a garage and additional parking can be at the front of the cottage.
