The space Snape Bridge House is the largest property on the Snape Maltings site, boasting original features and a rich history. Originally built by Newson Garrett as a family home, it remains a welcoming space for gathering, celebrating, and bringing families and friends together. The ground floor features a large kitchen with seating around a substantial table, a gas range, and a large fridge, making it an ideal space for cooking. The dining room, with its original panelling and ample seating for ten, and a hatch through to the kitchen, makes celebratory dinners a highlight of many guests’ stays. Two additional lounge areas provide relaxation away from the main house. One features a Blüthner grand piano and an open fire, while the other is furnished with soft seating for quiet downtime. The conservatory offers another area to gather, with additional dining seating and soft seating leading into the garden. Communal entertainment includes a full-sized billiards table and a dartboard, complemented by historic features and stained glass windows throughout. Sleeping arrangements are spread across the ground and first floors, offering flexibility for families and groups. Downstairs, there is a single bedroom and two twin rooms, one of which has an ensuite with a walk-in shower and WC. The first floor features a spacious main bedroom with a king size bed and garden views, an adjoining single bedroom, and a further bedroom with a super king or twin configuration, complete with a shower, bath, and WC.
