El área social esta complementada por un balcon que mira hacia la montana. Guest access To get to Choachi there is very efficient public transportion - TransOriente. A small bus leaves every 7 minutes from the terminals from 7AM to 7 PM. Once you reach Choachi, we will provide you with a list of drivers from town that will gladly take you to the cottage- El Zancudo- for a very reasonable fare. The road to Chaochi and La Union is one of the most beautiful roads in Colombia. Up high in the "paramo" you will see a landscape that will take your breath away, plus charming valleys and impressive mountains and then down to the temperate climate of Choachi and La Union. Guests have access to all of the property with the exception of a second house /studio located in the gardens. We have a large bar-b- q pit and a traditional country oven. Our caretaker knows of ladies in the area that will bake the typical arepas, bollos and sagu bread for you during your stay. Para llegar a Choachi se puede utilizar el transporte publico si así lo desea-TransOriente. cada 7 minutos sale un pequeño bus de las terminales desde las 7 AM hasta las 7 PM. Cuando lleguen a Choachi hay varios conductores de carros privados que lo pueden llevar a la finca El Zancudo por un precio muy razonable. La carretera de Bogota a Choachi es una de las mas bellas en Colombia. Se pasa por el páramo con su extraordinario paisaje, ademas de inmensos farallones, valles e impresionantes montanas para luego bajar al delicioso clima templado de la zona en que esta la finca. El alojamiento incluye acceso a toda la propiedad con excepcion de un estudio localizado dentro de los jardines y que se encuentra arrendado a largo plazo en este momento . Tenemos un barbeque grande y un horno tradicional. El mayordomo conoce varias mujeres en la region que saben hornear las tradicionales arepas, bollos de mazorca y pan de sagu.
