WayAway is an escape from the busy, where beach and bush are close at hand, and activities or relaxation are at your fingertips. Five minutes to the surfing seaside haven of Scott's Head, Grassy Head and beautiful National Parks Yarrahappini and Yarriabini. The Cabin is on a shared property with the owners. - Follow us @wayaway_cabin The space The WayAway Cabin is one of 3 buildings at the Scott's Shed Property which the owners live on. We are set on an elevated 3 acres which is surrounded by bush, native trees and plants and you have a beautiful sense of being high in the trees. The designer Cabin is private and fully self-contained with a full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and wood burner stove. It features calm and stylish interiors, all of which have been carefully thought through to create a relaxing and rejuvenating environment. The striking cabin has been built using locally sourced materials which gives you the sense of floating amongst the trees. The self contained bedroom features quality French linen sheets and the bathroom features custom vanity, Italian tiles and a deep soaking bath looking out to the bush. Wake up the sound of kookaburras, enjoy a romantic glass of wine in front of the wood burner stove, toast the sunset on the covered deck with a vintage cheese , light up the bar-b-que or laze on the wrap-around deck with a good book. Our detailed house manual will give you all the tips and tricks for the area including cafes, restaurants, markets and hiking trails. The property is suited perfectly for an adult getaway or single travellers who like to make the most of the area and then come back to a relaxing, romantic, cosy and comfortable cabin. It is not suitable for children due to the elevated location. Please note the buildings are in proximity to each other and the cabin has a unique outlook and offers privacy. Guest access You will have access to the whole cabin for the time of your stay. Other things to note The property has a steep but accessible all weather driveway which both 2-wheel and 4x4 vehicles can navigate easily. You can park right up behind the main house close to your cabin for easy access and the block is not suitable for large trucks, vans or caravans. We are on tank water and septic systems and we have wi-fi but no television. As we are on a steep natural block and the cabin is high deeming the property not suitable for children.
