Welcome to Grand View - where comfort meets nature! A cozy 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath retreat with a wrap-around deck and private Jacuzzi tub room, both with stunning views. Tucked in the trees, it feels like your own mountain treehouse. Less than a mile from the Shenandoah River for tubing, kayaking, or fishing. End your day by the fire pit under the stars, roasting s’mores and making memories. We’re pet friendly (dogs only), so bring your furry friend along for your stay. The space Tastefully decorated and spacious, the cabin can comfortably sleep 6 guests (1 King and 2 Queen beds) and comes fully furnished with all modern appliances and WIFI. A large wrap around deck with a walkway to an adjacent dining deck offers a view of the trees below and you may even glimpse a deer or two walking through the woods. Whether relaxing in the comfortable living room or cooking dinner on the outdoor charcoal grill you'll truly enjoy the amazing views at Grand View! While not enjoying the views at Grand View, the town of Luray (home to the famous Luray Caverns) is 20 minutes away and Shenandoah National Park, where you can drive along Sky Line Drive with breathtaking scenery and scenic overlooks, is a beautiful 25-30 minute drive from the home. We’re pet friendly (dogs only, 2 max), so bring your furry friend along for your stay. Our pet fee is $60 (flat fee, not per night). Traveling with a larger group? Grand View is near “Shenandoah Vista", another one of our 6-guest properties. While separated by a wooded area, the homes are walkable yet private - ideal for multiple families or friends traveling together. Guest access Guests have access to entire home. Parking is available near the home or on the driveway. Other things to note Things to Know Before You Book Location & Travel Times: The charming town of Luray and the famous Luray Caverns are 20 mins away. Thornton Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park (off Hwy 211) is a scenic 25–30 minute drive from the cabin. Shenandoah River Outfitters is less than a 5 minute drive away. Road Conditions: The uphill road leading to Grand View is gravel and not state or county maintained. 4WD or AWD is recommended in inclement weather (Ie: heavy snow / rain). The road can be a bit bumpy, so feel free to drive on whichever side is smoother. Have questions? Don’t hesitate to reach out before your stay. Groceries & Essentials: We recommend stopping for groceries before arriving, as the nearest stores are about 12 miles away. Charcoal grill - charcoal not provided. Camp fire wood available for purchase ($10 per bundle). Entertainment: The living room features a Roku TV with Peacock Premium Plus. You're welcome to log in to your own streaming accounts as well. Neighborhood Setting: Grand View is not fully secluded, but with the surrounding woods and peaceful setting, it certainly feels like it is. No cabins are right next door (as in a city setting), and although there are a few homes in the area, you'll still enjoy a peaceful and private stay. Electric Vehicles: Please note that there is no EV charging station on-site at this time.
