Welcome to Moulin Saint Nicolas, A mill that is only a mill in name but which will, I have no doubt, become the perfect place to host your beautiful moments in life! Located on an isolated property offering two hectares of land and a 2000 m2 pond, this pretty 260 m2 farmhouse has everything to make you have a perfect stay with family, friends or colleagues. The space Nestled in the charming village of Maizy, you will find all amenities within a 5-min drive: bakery, pizza, kebab, tobacco, Intermarché, florist and market! Close to major cities such as Reims (35 min, City Center, Christmas Market, Cathedral...), Tinqueux (20 min: Bowling, Laser Game, Gaumont Cinema, Carrefour, Ikea, Zodio, ...) Paris (1h30: 2024 Olympic Games). Don't miss your chance to visit the Champagne cellars, explore the majestic Laon Cathedral (35 min). Located in an area rich in history and natural beauty: Caverne du Dragon and Chemin des Dames Museum (12 min), Ailette Center Parcs (25 min). Thus the Moulin Saint Nicolas gîte is a place to stay "in the countryside" with the possibility of excursions to major recreational or cultural sites of international renown: Disneyland Paris (1h20), Parc Astérix (1h30), Chantilly, Compiègne, Reims (35min)... Upon arrival, you will be immediately seduced by the cottage's recently renovated kitchen. It is equipped with two refrigerators to store your fresh produce and drinks, a dishwasher to facilitate household chores, a cooktop to prepare your meals, and even a wine cellar to introduce you to the best wines of our region. All the necessary appliances to cook delicious dishes are at your disposal. The living/dining room is the heart of the house. Equipped with a wood-burning stove, it is the perfect place to relax, chat, or share your favorite meals prepared in the adjacent kitchen. The cottage has five comfortable bedrooms, offering a total of 15 beds. On the ground floor, you will find: a spacious bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed, as well as a private bathroom with direct access to the bedroom for more convenience. Upstairs, you will find four additional bedrooms: the first is equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed, while the second has a double bed and a sofa bed. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with washing machine and dryer, as well as a toilet. The third bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed, while the fourth offers a double bed and a crib. These two bedrooms also share a bathroom for added convenience. Additional toilets are located on the landing. Beds will be made upon arrival and towels will be available to you. For those wishing to entertain indoors, the Gîte du Moulin Saint Nicolas offers a games room equipped with a video projector and a comfortable sofa. This is a perfect place to watch your favorite movies, play video games or host board game nights. Outside, a large dining table will allow you to enjoy outdoor meals while admiring the view of the surrounding nature, including a 2000 m2 pond. A barbecue is also available to share grilled food with family or friends. Guest access You will have access to the entire Mill as well as all the exteriors (park, orchard, pond, etc.) Other things to note A security system is present at the mill to prevent any intrusion during our absence. No security cameras are present in the rental, only motion detectors that you will have control of upon arrival. The cleaning option is required as part of your reservation,  We simply ask that you kindly clean the kitchen and its equipment, including appliances such as the stove, oven, microwave, and empty the dishwasher once used. As for the bedrooms, we simply ask that you strip the beds you've used by removing the sheets to change them for the next occupants.
