Relax with the whole family at this peaceful home. The space Completely renovated old stone home on 1 acre lot located one block from the boat landing on the Fox River, one block from the dam on Buffalo Lake with ADA fishing pier, and within walking distance to downtown Montello restaurants and shops. ATV and snowmobile trail access from the house. Holliday sporting goods across the street offers gas, Subway, bait, hunting and fishing gear. 15 min drive to Amish bakeries and greenhouses. Dog friendly home. 30 minutes to WI Dells and Green Lake area.The space The first floor has an open kitchen and living room space with fireplace. There is a separate family room with TV and sofa bed adjacent to the dining room. The family room has a sliding door for privacy and access to the deck. The first floor bath has a large clawfoot tub (w/ shower) if a bath is in order. The second floor has three bedrooms. The king bed can be split into two twins if needed. The second bedroom has a queen and full size bed. The third bedroom has a twin bed. The second floor bathroom is roomy with a shower and plenty of room to get ready. The basement is unfinished. The laundry and owner storage are located on that level. Washer and dryer are available for your use during your stay. The large backyard provides plenty of room to run and play. There’s a badminton net, balls, sleds and other lawn games available for your use. There is a large wood burning fire pit, perfect for s’mores and memory making. There is a separate screened gazebo with gas fire table too. There's a large play structure w/ swings for the kiddos to enjoy. There’s plenty of room to put up a tent to camp in the yard if a night under the stars is in order. Guest access You will have access to the entire house and small shed. Other things to note Low tech vacation getaway - TV and smart blue ray player w Netflix access available in the Family room. Wifi is available - login info is in the welcome book. There is a Redbox at the Kwik Trip down the street. Fired pit and grill is available and both works with gas. However, gas is not provide it, if the tank is at site is empty please buy one at the kiwi Trip down the street. Marquette county is known for great hunting, hiking, and fishing. If you want tips on where to go just let us know. There are lots of public hunting grounds near by. If you are interested in Turkey hunting, we can help facilitate hunting land for you.
